Simple but Brilliant
We've had this for a few years now for our son to take to school. We fill the bottom compartment with boiling water and put his lunch in the middle compartment on top and this keeps his food hot for hours. The hot water and what's left of his lunch (very small amount) is still warm at 4pm after school. All the compartments are dishwasher safe, though I wouldn't recommend putting them in the microwave if you want to preserve the life of the compartments. The main container is easy to clean and secures the lid very well. None of the compartments have ever leaked. We've also got the Zojirushi drink flasks - they are amazing and also keep hot drinks piping hot for hours.

Practical lunch box for full lunch
These are a good solution for my small kids lunch to school. They always take soup in the bottom container, it's stays warm enough for 5hours (just), the middle container is a generous size and the top is great for fruit or salad so it's really practical. The chopsticks were unnecessary but removable. They clean well but it's 6 pieces and the thermos to clean, all go well in the dishwasher (recommend for best clean to remove grease).A bit pricy but does what it says and better than the rest so far.

12hours still steamy with my insulation hack
It's my first hot food flask purchase. It has 3 compartments which was good to separate different types of food.Tested the flask with boiling hot water filled in lowest and middle tub then capped off with top tub. I've also tried stuffing 5mm thick insulation foam (white) around the top tub.Managed to get at least 40-50degC steamy hot water after 12hours. I reckon, any dense foam stuffing around the top tub would help contain more heat if you wish to have your meals hot for longer than 6hours. Consider that as a hack ;)

This is a great product, by far the best food flask ive had, the japanese really know their stuff, so far ive used it after 6 hours and all my food was red hot.

Best quality thermal insulation you can get
I already have a zojirushi flask and it’s amazing so I decided to get a lunch box to go with it for taking on picnics

Not a genuine Thermos as advertised.
This is not effective as it did not keep the food warm. The food was cold within 30minutes
