Daler-Rowney Artists' White Caddy Carry Storage Box for Art Supplies, 33 x 20 x 15cm, Ideal for Professional Artists & Students

Solid and dependable I bought two of these for my younger siblings, I have an two cases of a similar size from years ago and wanted to give them each one to bring their art supplies in and out of school easily. So far neither of them have experienced any of the commons issues I experience with my cases. Theirs manage to deal with a full load with the lip or hinge clipping and the outer clasp seems to be holding up well.

This item is very flimsy. The plastic supports for shelves keep popping off. When opening and closing you have to do this very carefully/slowly holding the shelves otherwise it buckles and the supports pop off. It serves a purpose which is why I have kept it but it is not robust at all and I feel not worth the amount I paid for it.

Great little box. Good service and delivery. Just right for storing school resources or art products. It is a good quality box with an easy yet effective fastener on the front. I would recommend this as a great little art box for students etc.

Collected a few days ago. Definitely better quality material.I did need another such storage box. It's nice and sturdy box for my jewellery making sterling silver wires. Makes life easy, I can see them all at a glance.Thank you.

I purchased this as a lightweight carry case for transporting my pottery tools and apron between home and classes. It's not a heavy load and not a long distance. I have maybe 15 small bamboo handled tools and a couple of cutting wires. The heaviest thing in there is a wooden kidney which weighs less than a full tube of acrylic paint.I picked Daler-Rowney as previous boxes that I have bought from them have been bomb-proof. I still have the one I bought for college 30 years ago.This broke FIRST outing.The entire box is thin, cheap plastic. The trays inside are flimsy and attached to the main body of the box with thin plastic 'arms' which pop through holes in the sides of the tray and the box. And then pop out and twist and bend when you really don't want them to. The whole system buckles and bends every time you try and open the box.The clasp on the front fell off the first time I opened it in class and I had to force it back on. Now it wobbles and the lid doesn't close firmly when the catch is applied. I wont carry it by the handle as I'm worried that the clasp will pop open while I'm carrying it and spill the contents everywhere. So it has to be transported tucked under one arm.The only sturdy bit of this box is the manufacturers sticker plastered on the front of the box which was impossible to remove and left nasty sticky residue in a nice big rectangle on the front. It's not sticky any more as now it's full of clay dust.There is no way that this box would cope with anything heavier inside. Full of paint and brushes it would be completely useless.The only thing is has going for it is that you can see what's inside which might be handy if you had several and needed to see what which one you needed. Personally I wouldn't buy one let alone several.Overpriced and flimsy and definitely not the quality I'd expect from Daler-Rowney.

The box does the storage job adequately, but the cantilevered shelf collapsed every time the box was opened. The shelf is fixed by plastic hinges which pop out of their sockets every time you open the lid. The front clasp is also flimsy, as are the rear hinges. Certainly not what one would expect from such a reputable art materials company. This product is only suitable for light domestic use. Most definitely not anything harder than that. I had to engineer a stronger hinge fixing before I could let the misses use it. Even still, it needs to be opened with care. But at least the shelf doesn’t fall out now.

I've removed all the clutter from my work area and it's all within reach and organised.It's like a TARDIS so be mindful about overfilling as it's still made of plastic.The lower section is deep enough to store regularly used inks, paint and bulkier items. Couple of protrusions to suggest 3 sections. If you wanted to you could make these longer with don't card or something to completely separate.Middle draw has sections that fit most pens, markers that sort of thing.Top draw has two sections for longer pens, pencils, brushes and two smaller sections where I've put erasers, pencil sharpener and a few clips.Most importantly all of this stuff isn't in pots / strewn across the desk.

Kom med en del delar lösa och var inte särskilt robust. Går inte att använda för något med minsta tyngd i. Dålig kvalitet!

Ich benutze die Kiste zur Aufbewahrung von Nähzubehör. Dafür eignet sich die Kiste hervorragend. Oben kann man auch super Nähgarn aufbewahren. Die Kiste kann man vielseitig verwenden und nicht nur für Künstlerbedarf. Klare Kaufempfehlung für diesen Alleskönner.

A great item. I use this sturdy clear box for storing electronic bits and pieces like mice, chargers, external hard drives, usb sticks etc - that way I can see what's in each slot. It's quite spacious, and it was a reasonable price. I'll probably get another one for actual tools :)
