Qshave - Men or Women Short Handle Classic Double Edge Lighter Travel Safety Shaving Razor, 1 Pc

I've been using safety razors now for about five years. And during this time I have been looking for the perfect razor for me. Now, if you are new to the whole wet shaving thing you need to understand that not all razors will work the same for everyone, nor blades, not soap and so on. So even great products with impeccable reputation might not be right for you. During this time I have tried over five vintage Gillette razors, an Edwin Jagger, Lords, several off brand Russian and Chinese razors and a couple of Merkurs. Some great some not so much. I decided to give this Qshave a try since reviews were so favorable and the price was so low, and for me this is the best bang for your buck. Actually, it has given me the best shave I've ever gotten from a safety razor. The construction of this thing is solid and precise. The one I received aligned the blade perfectly and I did not had to fiddle with it. Although some may find the handle a bit short, it is good enough for daily use. Besides, only a few razors out there will bring a longer handle out of the box. The finish is second only to the Edwin Jagger I own, which is almost a work of art. It closed very secured and although not a heavy razor, it hold its own against other similar razors. Certainly heavier than most other far east, Lord, and bakelite models I've used. Where this thing shines is where you need it, the shave. Although not aggressive by any mean, it whacked my coarse beard clean with absolutely no irritation. For me it stroke the perfect balance and I could not believe it did such a wonderful job shaving without the slightest sensation of burn. I must be clear and point out I did not use the provided blades and opted for my regular Wilkinson blades. But compared to all the razors I've used with this same blade, this one jumped atop of the list and will continue to be my go to razor even over razors more than five times the price. Well done!

Bought several of these of these for my studio as I have returned to more reusable tools to be more ecological and more reliable. The blades that come with the razor curl a bit but are usable. another brand i bought curled even more and were unusable. The best fit should have a little play. The best blades I have found for this are “FEATHER NEW HI-STAINLESS” every one has fit perfectly. You can never go wrong with Japanese stuff. Don’t worry this deal isn’t too good to be true. Excellent value. There will be some minor nearly unnoticeable blemishes. Also If you’re using this one in the shower you might want to find some kind of rubbery grip tho. Even though theres a textured grip, the chrome finish is thick and slippery.l when wet and soapy. Only left to see how many autoclave cycles they can endure.

The material is a bit light weight, and the design was not very sophisticated. But it gets the job done, at least for me. Although not the most enjoyable shaving experience, but overall considering the price still worth it.

First off this is the first safety razor i have used that wasnt my wilkinson sword that came with a set here off amazon. I just completed my first shave with this qshave razor and it was awesome. No nicks or cuts and very smooth. At first i thought it was gonna be more aggresive than my wilkinson but far from it. The blades sent with these qshave razors also seem very good. This was also my first time using a razor that wasnt loaded with one of the wilkinson blades. Everytime i put a fresh wilkinson blade in my wilkinson razor, i draw blood the first time and i didnt with the qshave. A++ and for the price you cant go wrong with this razor. Very close shave. I generally do a 2 pass shave and the results my first time were better than my wilkinson. Awesome awesome razor.

My first DE razor. First, this is an inexpensive razor and might be all you need to spend to see if this style of shaving is for you. It has good weight, polishes up handsomely, and is small--which is to be expected, it is after all, intended for travel. This is a standard 3-piece model, with all pieces finished in chrome, entirely manufactured in China for what its worth. It comes packaged in a fairly nice box and a tuck of 5 blades from the manufacturer are included. If I remember correctly they were titanium blades. If you do much research into traditional wet-shaving you will probably realize that razor blades are entirely subjective. YMMV, always. I did try the included blades and found them to be just fine. My only gripe for this razor, and the reason for my 3-star rating, is that one side of the head holds the blade crimped at the edges. Only one side is affected on mine, and I was wary enough to notice. This reduces the amount of shaves I will get from one blade by half, unless I literally tape off the crimped side and flip the blade when I have dulled the one edge. I realize DE razor blades are cheap, but this is a significant flaw in either design or quality control. Shaving with a crimped blade is asking for nicks, cuts, and irritation. In all other respects this a great introductory razor for the money. Hopefully yours will be useable on both sides. Enjoy.

I use this to shave my legs. My previous razor (5-blade) was giving me really bad ingrown hairs that made my legs really itchy for days on end, so I had to go back to the basics. This is my first double-edged razor, and I was initially extremely afraid of cutting myself, but it's actually pretty easy to handle. I watched a few videos online of how to properly shave with this type of razor, and it's not much different than a regular one. Only the angle is slightly different, and I have to go slowly around my knees and ankles, but I'm still able to shave in the shower and get a smooth shave. Also, no more itchy legs! It made a significant difference. Would recommend.

Do not waste your time. The poor design of this causes the blade to bend downwards on all 4 corners. I had read this in a previous review and hoped it was a rare fluke. Wrong. I will be returning this tomorrow.

I have been using this razor for months, so far so good. There are only so many variables to making a good razor, the angle of the blade and how far it protrudes being the most important. No need for an expensive product to satisfy those requirements.

This razor is great. There is no reason for a 3 piece safety razor to cost more unless it's solid gold. The pieces fit together very neatly and the blade angle is precise. Highly recommend buying this cheaper handle and then spending the money you save on some high quality blades.

I must say, this razor has been a delightful addition to my grooming kit. I used to be a daily gilette user, but due to the increase in price of razor heads - I decided on a more cost effective product. Shaving Experience: I can get a much closer shave than previous multi-bladed razors, it's gentle on the skin, and I've noticed a significant reduction in irritation and ingrown hairs since making the switch to this razor. Ease of Use: Changing blades is a breeze, and cleaning is even easier. Simply just unscrew the handle to clean any hairs or to replace the blade. Value for Money: Considering the quality and experience, this razor is a steal. It's an affordable luxury that hasn't let me down. It doesn't come with any blades but I purchased a pack of 200 blades off Amazon for very cheap which will last me for the next couple of years. Overall: I'm thoroughly impressed with the Qshave Men's Razor. It's reliable, and gives a close shave without any fuss. I've recommend it to family members looking for a high-quality & cheap safety razor. Pros: - Lightweight and travel-friendly - Durable chrome-plated finish - Comfortable grip and easy maneuverability - Provides a close, smooth shave - Great value for the price Cons: - The short handle may take some getting used to if you're coming from a razor with a longer handle, but it wasn't an issue for myself.
