Evading Honesty Paperback – June 24, 2014

The book was a quick read, but effectively provided details and techniques to catch a person trying to hide the truth. In the course of my career I have seen many first hand and the tells and interpretations detailed in this book are accurate and expanded on my own understanding.

The authors put together a concise yet thorough work on detecting deception in verbal and physical indicators. Provided with excellent, yet simple and relatable, examples that apply to everyday life whether you are in the investigation business or want to pin your kids down on their deceptions. A must read for anyone wishing to hone their "lie detector" skills. Go buy this book and we'll be leaving together shortly.

Evading Honesty is exacrly that. It teaches you how to detect deception using simple concepts. It's a very short read. No fluff talk. It is direct and to the point. I have been using what I learned here and have seen great results.I have recommended this book to a lot of people. I hope they write another book. Highly recommend.

Evading Honesty is a very good introduction and study of detecting deception. I found it easy to read and easy to apply the principles taught within,Great for the Police Officer or anyone else that may be dealing with someone that is trying to evade the truth.Careful who you use it on. You may not like what you learn.Great Book! Should be required reading for Police Officers.

Upon using this product I immediately noticed thicker, fuller erections. Women flocked to me. Men wanted to be me and wanted to know my secret. I gave up my mediocrity.In reality, as a professional that relies on obtaining accurate and honest information from people that are anything but, this book aided me. I have many years of conducting interviews but this was a good publication for the novice and the experienced alike. Easy to read and comprehend.

A bit of a dry read but has a lot of good information that is useful for work. My husband and I both work in law enforcement. Helps you learn new techniques and to better understand the ones you may already know.

Excellent book, very easy to read. I am the type that learns faster with hands on training or by examples. this book has the best of both worlds. Constantly reinforced with real life examples and scenarios with step by step break downs of how to spot deceitfulness.

Excellent book with some very good information that is usable and applicable in both Law Enforcement/Military aspects and Civilian and Citizen applications. It's not like other fancy psychological and behavioral analysis books that are boring and full of dry information. This book is great whether you've had previous training or you're new to this.

I read from front to back in just over an hour and couldn't put it down. I felt the book had applications for both civilian and law enforcement purposes and will most definotely open ypur eyes to the subtlties that we miss in day to day interactions. Thinking back on personal experiences I thought of countless times where i could have applied what I learned in the book, or had applied what I had learned without knowing. Awesome buy and can't wait for some follow up material!

Perfect moderate level entry into recognizing and being able to articulate multiple and joint signs of deception.This is jot beginner level as you have to have some experience with stressful contacts with people to know what some of the cues and how to interpret are.

This book advertises that they developed their system and then found it very similar to a system being used by other US government agencies. That other system is the one taught in the book Spy The Lie. In this book they even tell you to go read Spy The Lie to continue learning this method.Its definitely a good method to use to try and get more truthful answers from people. I own pretty much every book on this topic and this particular method is the most workable. However I already own Spy The Lie and its sequel Get The Truth so I found no value in this book and will be returning it.If I was to recommend one book on lie detection it would be Spy The Lie as it goes into way more detail on how to use this method.
