How much my daughter loves this toy, she just can't stop playing with it and even took it with her on vacation.

The pet carrier has Pet Salon written on it and can be used with a multitude of toy pets. The cat requires 2 x AAA batteries (not included), but a screwdriver is. Once batteries are installed the little cat meows and walks along briefly if you press its ear. It will also play a tune if you press on the heart shape in the ear. You can pretend to shave the cat with some toy clippers or dry its hair with a hairdryer. In all there are 15 accessories to go with this cat and a very nice little pet carrier. The meow sound does get a little annoying I have to admit but the child will love it.It's quite expensive at just under £37 but a great gift.

The packaging arrived covered in dust obviously sat on a shelf somewhere for a long time. Lots of small bits so not good for younger children. Not really impressed to be honest.

She loves animals so it would obviously be a win, but from an adult's perspective, it is lacking in a few areas.Pros:• Get loads of grooming/vet accessories• All together in a cute plastic carry case• Kitten is cute and walks, meows or plays musicCons:• The cat is far smaller than I expected• The sound effects are really loud and a bit distortedThe kitten----------When this arrived, my immediate reaction was... The cat is absolutely tiny. I know it's a kitten, but it is just so small and wasn't what I thought it was going to be at all.I thought it would be soft and cuddly, but as it's interactive and takes batteries (2 AAAs not included, although it does come with a super handy mini screw driver), it's fairly hard all over and definitely isn't a toy your little one will cuddle whilst they treat it.The sounds and movement--------------------------I also wasn't really expecting the sounds. It feels a bit random and unnecessary, as the accessories are substantial enough. It's kind of cute the cat can meow (you just switch it on underneath) and walk, and if you hold down the ear it will play music. But, it's not intelligent and doesn't meow when brushed, for example, and doesn't stay still whilst meowing so is hard to groom on the go!The sound effects and audio are very loud with no volume control, and I'm sorry to say just a bit distorted and not good quality. It does however walk really well, and my daughter does like it nonetheless, but she isn't a huge fan of the sounds as they're a bit jolting.The accessories----------------Other than this though, the accessories you get are great. You get a whole host of vet and grooming themed accessories, from stethoscopes to brushes to shavers to a hairdryer. You of course get a water bowl and bottle too.The accessories are plastic but good quality with no obvious hazards and my toddler absolutely loves them all and the stephoscope fits her well.The carrier-----------The carrier is good, solid and vividly designed, and my toddler can carry it around as it's lightweight and not oversized.It's a bit of an odd design as it opens at the side, but it sort of doubles as a little grooming parlour this way. It is a bit difficult for my little girl to open on her own as there are two clips at the top, but also there's a gap big enough for her to get things in and out anyway so it doesn't need to be open all the time.It's also good as it keeps all of the little bits, and kitten, in the same place.My verdict----------Well, it's a great roleplay set and any toddler will probably love it. I just wish the kitten was a bit better quality and cuddlier. It's a mixed bag from me as my little girl does like it, so that's the main thing, although I'd expect it to be a bit cheaper for what it is.

So I ordered this item end of October for my granddaughter Xmas gift… imagine my surprise that it didn’t walk and only mowed for 1 day. I contacted the seller but no response.. I tried to let them know this was faulty but as it was ordered October which is regardless as item is faulty.

My 3 year old is really in the play pretend stage so I got this for her as she loves kittens and to care for them. It includes all the accessories you need to take care of the kitten but the cat itself is actually small and quite loud so we had to remove the batteries.
