Can I buy a cord with this that fits? I can't find one that will match the low voltage end. Needing the 12v 1.0 amp

Hi, it depends on the current of the blower. If the blower's current is 1A or 1.25A, then you need a 1.5A adaptor. If the blower's current is 1.5A, then you need a 2A adaptor. Hope my answer would be helpful.

In regards to the output of this transformer, is the 12v ac or dc?

12v DC 1A - But if you have existing US XMAS inflatables these may NOT fit completely, without sanding the end of the hole on the plug end to let them fit. I have about 8 inflatables and the plug ends on US retail inflatables the plug end is too short to fit properly. These do work though if sanded to make the screw on end of the adapter shorter. Also make sure your inflatables do not need MORE then 1A, some do and if so the fan will not start, the lights may come on but will not inflate. There are 2A models for some larger inflatables and some even need more!

What is the difference 1.5a vs 1a?
