Will it cut an 8.5 x 11 card stock? I would to for example to put a green piece of 8.5 x 11 card stock filled with assorted leaf dies.

No this machine will not cut 8.5 x 11 inch cardstock. I have the Anna Griffin Empress cutting machine with the 5 x 7 plates and the 7 x 12 plates. Since a piece of paper is 8.5 inches is larger than 7 inches it would need to be cut to 7 inches to fit the larger plates. the largest plate cuts 7 x 12. I bought the machine and plates for the larger cards and dies from Anna Griffin.

What is the size of these plates? The description and the photo doesn't match

They are 8.6"x13.5". The main image is correct, but the alt images are for another size that is currently out of stock.
