I just have a lack of words for this. Ok, it might be a little salty, but it still is the most amazing blend ever!!! Chicken, salmon, veg, potatoes....basically anything you want to eat, slather this on it. You're supposed to slather it and let it set, but if I don't plan ahead, I just do it (I won't say "slather" again, because I've never used that word so much before, but, honestly, it's a great word) and cook immediately. Seriously, it's hard to describe how good this is!

I've been used to the powdered jerk seasonings and had a recipe that specifically recommended the Walkerswood so I figured I would give it a try. I've been very pleased with how well this seasons with less compared to the powdered blends. The hot is really hot for my family, but is the kind of hot that my 13 yr old eats and just drinks a lot of water with because the flavor is so good; we end up using more of the mild, but I'll probably always keep both on hand going forward. Overall this is one of those products that once I'd used it in one recipe, I immediately started thinking up more ways to use it. I highly recommend giving it a try and playing around with it! ( oh and Jerk-peach hobo packs on the grill were a huge hit!)

If you aren't doing a homemade jerk seasoning then I would highly suggest you try this one. I get it typically at the World Market store when I can but since we do not live close to one, I was very happy to discover this on Amazon. The flavor is so authentic, and you can use either the mild or spicy (I always do both since my husband prefers the spicy and I do not) to fit your taste buds. We have previously bought this exact brand in Jamaica when on vacation there. Excellent flavor and when marinated overnight the flavor really sinks into your meat. I also always use boneless, skinless chicken thighs when I make this but I am sure it is tasty on any meat!

I love both of these paste. The taste are flavorful and powerful. I use them on red meats and it's great with almost all. I especially love the green seasoning.
