Great for sketching anatomy/light studies.
Truly a wonderful piece of kit! The moulding is great! I honestly didn't expect such detail, for example, the perfectly sculptured shape, the pitmarks and joins and natural textures of the bone...amazing!You can see from the photos how well it's formed based on how the light is hitting it. No rough surfaces, no little bits of hangy onny resin anywhere. You can see from the line that the top half pops off. That's nice and easy. Just holes and pegs, plus, don't think it's smooth inside, because, there's even MORE detail!.I've blue-tacked mine onto a stand for a mini-mannequin so he can sit on my desk at eyelevel, plus also, I can gently tilt, as needed for a pose.ONE THING TO CONSIDER:The jawbone is not hinged onto the skull, like a real human. There is a super-strong spring, with one point at the roof of the mouth and the other point where the tongue would be. This means, that you have to pull it apart with (gentle but firm) pressure to look inside, and you won't be able to keep his mouth open without holding it open. That suits me, because I mainly want it for angles. Profile, 3/4, upshot, downshot, etc. But if being able to leave the mouth open is the clincher for you, as if you're a dentist, or just wanting to draw some open-mouthed poses, then you'd need a model with some functionality. As an artist, the size is perfect! I don't need a full size head cluttering up my desk even more. But it's large enough for me to do a nice sketch without having to lean over or squint.TAKE AWAY.Overall, this is a mind blowingly well made little skull, ESPECIALLY for the price!

Bit expensive
For what it is I think it's pricey but looked OK in my shop for Halloween

1:1 model
Purchased this during the Black Friday sale for my partner who’s a physio and asked for some anatomical models. The item is as described and securely packaged. The base is not attached to this item and requires assembly (screwdriver needed).Overall, this item is just as described and just what I needed so I can’t fault the item. Most certainly worth the purchase for any students/ those in practice.

Scull Features
Helping with my anatomy studies. Not quiet accurate at the back of the skull not in proportion. Front is excellent

Small but perfectly formed
I like to draw things and I bought this to help me draw better. Anatomically it is accurate but lacks the detail needed in a surgical specimen, or for an anatomical lecture. However it gives a good impression of the skull, is cute and fits in your pocket. As an easily transportable teaching aid, it's perfect
