Working good after a year, and 30k cycles.

I was nervous about the durability of this solenoid because it is used in wet, dirty conditions. However, it surpassed my expectations and I ended up ordering more. They are less than 1/5 the cost of a Versa valve.

It's a great-looking product, it should work just fine.

I’m starting to do some experimenting with pneumatic cylinders for the possibility of implementing them in some of my hobby projects. I ordered this solenoid valve for automating cylinder activation.Like another reviewer, the one I received required a few power cycles before it properly activated as it was going to a half open state. I don’t know if there is some old oil or grease or maybe some dirt that is gumming up the mechanism in these or if there is another problem. Also, there are no instructions included, but it was quick enough to figure out how to connect and operate via some google fu. For these, I’m dropping a star.However, once it was freed up and fulling actuating the valve mechanism, it seems to be working well and I can’t detect any leaks. I received the 24V DC version, but mine will activate at around 20V meaning I don’t need perfect voltage.

The solenoid didn’t work at all. It clicked when I put 12V on it, but no air changed direction. I tried putting air in from each direction and it never worked. I was within pressure range and had the correct voltage.

I needed this for an emergency on a manufacturing line and its been working great for months now with a lot of cycles
