I have had my license plate stolen, so I wanted a little extra security. These will provide that. However, it took me some time to figure out how to get these on a USA car. Once that was done, the actually installation was fairly easy with the provided tools.

My rear license plate was stolen about a month ago, just had regular screws attaching it. These have a special hex key that makes it difficult for the average thief to steal. Of course, if they have the hex key already, there’s not much one can do about it. But it helps.

The kit seems like a good one for the price. However the screws were too big for my license plate.

We just bought a used car but didn’t realize previous owner took screws/bolts with his license plates (really?!). Found this site and couldn’t have been more pleased. The flat screws fit my 2017 Corolla and the pointed screws fit my wife's 2019 RAV4. Had to revisit this page to figure out where all the parts go and how to stack them but worked very well. Had lots of leftover parts, but I guess that's the point. To make sure you've got everything you need! I had something similar before and I lost the special "tool" which made it hard to remove and switch out! I finally got it and love how this kit comes with 2 tools so I can be sure not to lose them this time.

This product is a great option to keep your vehicles License plate secure! I'm not going to say these will make it impossible for a thief to steal the License plate off of your vehicle, but these security screws will make it more difficult.

I need to park my car in various "seedy" places. I don't want my license plate stolen so I purchased this kit. Added these security bolts to all my cars. Requires a special allen wrench to install and remove (comes with the kit). I ordered a second set for an older car I own, but that was mainly just to have an extra allen wrench in case I can't find my wrench. I made a special pouch in my garage on the wall with these special tools. I don't want to lose them.
