This is an amendment to the comment below. And, very weird. Charging iPhone13mini before battery pack was via C plug from power adapter (5v,3Amp) to lightening adapter to iPhone . This does not work once iPhone is inside battery pack. A C to lightening to battery pack charges only battery pack and does not pass any charge onto iPhone. BUT, if you switch cables -- USB2or3 in power adapter to lightening plug into battery pack--it all works. iPhone powers up and then the battery pack tops off. Makes no bloody sense. A USB2 plug somehow communicates to the battery pack? ***************this, below, is the problem incurred initially********************************** Pressing button on back charges iPhone13mini. But, if battery pack (containing phone) is plugged in for charging it ceases to charge phone. And, battery pack will continue to charge itself but phone is allowed to run to 0% charge. There is no switchover to charging phone, either first or second, if battery pack is plugged in and receiving a charge.

With today's smartphones, especially the mini's and their smaller batteries, having a backup source is essential. This works as advertised and so far...flawless in operation and charging.

After 6 weeks of my purchase, it stopped charging my phone with the charge button, and would not recognize my earpiece cord when I plug it in for sound. It's past the return date, so money wasted and I'm buying one from a different company.

Working for 8 to 10 hours on location, I don't always have place to plug in and recharge my iphone. This is so easy to slip onto my iphone and charge it, it's almost insane that everyone doesn't have one. I keep mine in my backpack and it stays charge and ready for months. It has saved my untold times and I've purchased one for my wife to keep in her purse.

Works okay. But sometimes it will just stop for whatever reason. I also feel like battery life can be longer, I don’t agree with what’s advertised. However it is convenient when you need a little charge. Update (10/3/23). It stopped charging and is basically useless.

It is a proprietary device and charges itself before charging your dying phone. When your phone goes into red, you have to power up the battery pack and it will completely charge your phone… unless, you plug it in. You think you’ll charge your phone and keep a charge on the battery pack; but no, the battery pack prioritizes charging itself and stops charging your phone , letting it die, even though plugged in.

Bought this to replace the battery in my father in laws old flip phone. Works great and was a great value!
