Why did you pick this product vs others?: Super cute and well made! Not too heavy, not too light. I’ve got water in it for my cat or birds or bees to drink from. Edit: Something (raccoons?) was playing with this and the little birds broke off. I glued them back on with Suguru and it’s good as new.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Very disappointed in this bird bath. The surface started flaking very quickly, leaving the material sitting in the water. I don’t want birds to ingest the material so I have thrown the bird bath out. Unfortunately I didn’t make this discovery until after the return window closed. DO NOT buy this bird bath! I’ve read other reviews about leaks. I don’t know if mine leaked or the water just evaporated quickly in our hot environment. I had it on rocks on the ground. NOT a good product and NOT worth any amount of money. I’m now using $3.00 glass pie dishes as bird baths and this works great. No paint or other material to leach or flake into the water.

I bought this to sit inside my birdbath alongside a solar frog fountain, and the effect is exactly what I wanted! It looks like weathered metal with a beautiful patina. The frogs are adorable!

We had a huge bird bath which was a pain to clean and refill. We kept getting smaller ones until this one, which is perfect. Although small, even large Bluejays can easily bath in it. We actually had 3 birds line up to take their turn. And the best thing is it's small and light so you can pick it up to clean it and fill it again.

I purchased this item last year when creating an outdoor fountain. It looked great for a few weeks, but then the paint finish started to peel off, making it unsafe for birds and wildlife.

The photo showed a neutral, pale birdbath, but what came was fake bronze. Returned it. It was a decent size and depth, but not what I was expecting as per the photo
