Riedel The O Wine Tumbler Cabernet/Merlot + Viognier/Chardonnay

Excellent quality

We love these glasses! They look great and hold up well. There is no stem to break off or take up space. Beware, looks can be deceiving when pouring a beverage into this glass, it holds a lot more than it looks. They appear to be shatter resistant, but believe me they are breakable! We received 4 as a wedding gift several years ago and only have one left. I need to mention that we have also lost several dishes, many are now chipped, a glass bread pan and many other glass items........ Yeah,..... I'm not giving up the glass.... nor the husband for that matter ;). This set comes with 4 viognier/chardonnay glasses and 4 cabernet/merlot glasses. We've always had washed them.

I hesitated to order these because I was afraid since they state they are dishwasher-safe, that they would be heavy and chunky. However, they have a very nice feel to them with a nice delicate rim. So much so that I still worry about washing them in the dishwasher but have done so (top rack, careful that nothing is touching them) about 5 times and so far, so good. I really like the modern stemless style a lot and they are very pretty. The size, shape and weight is what I had hoped for. We now use these more than any others.

These are so delicate and thin that you almost worry they will break in your hand, but that's part of their charm. Very well manufactured, super consistent shape and thickness all the way around, very classy.

Who doesn't want 6 for the price of 8? These are durable and a great size in your hand. I would recommend them to anyone, and they make a great gift.

When I first looked at these, I was confused as to what was in the set. There are 4 large wine glasses, and 4 small ones, exactly what I was looking for. The best part is that these are dishwasher safe. Since they are stemless, they are more stable, and less likely to be knocked over by a swiping arm at the dinner table.

Even though these glasses seem fragile, they are surprisingly sturdy. The thinness makes them seem especially elegant. I like that they don't tip over easily and mix with a wide range of dining setups/decorations.

Beautiful glasses. Unusably breakable. Buy them, put them on a shelf. Don't touch them. Don't walk near them. Don't breathe on them. Don't think about broken glass near them - they can smell fear and will break in anticipation of you touching them. As I was writing this review, three of my glasses broke in retribution.

Ces verres sont utilies tous les jours à la maison. Ils sont très fins et cassent facilement mais nous aimons leur taille et forme donc nous en rachetons lorsqu'ils cassent.

Und selbstverständlich können die guten Stücke nicht nur für Weiß- oder Rotwein, somdern auch für Wasser, Saftschorlen etc. eingesetzt werden. In jedem Fall stellen sie ein ungewöhnliches finish für den schön gedeckten Tisch dar. Ich habe die Gläser regelmäßig in Gebrauch und spüle sie in der Maschine,auch das macht ihnen ncihts aus, sondern sie zeigen sich "robust" - was bei hochwertigen Gläsern aus meiner Sicht auch ein wichtiges "pro" - Argument ist. Einziger - kleiner - Mangel, der für mich aber nicht zu Punktabzug führt: Beim "Anstoßen" klingen die Gläser nicht besonders voll. Da müssen dann doch die guten alten "stielvollen" Weingläser herhalten...

Elegant, high quality. Brings out the colour and flavour in the wine - even a less expensive wine tastes much better in these glasses. Better than an expensive wine in a cheap glass. Worth the small investment. Arrived in perfect condition.

Wunderbare Gläser. Optik und Haptik sind hier absolut Spitze. In diesem 8er Set mit 4 großen Rotwein- und 4 kleinen Weißweingläsern unschlagbar im Preis, im Verhältnis zum Einzelpreis. VORSICHT; Die Gläser sind auf Grund ihres hohen Kristallanteils recht empfindlich ggü. heißen Spülgängen. Besonders bei Spülmaschinen mit spezieller Trocknungsfunktion sollte diese direkt nach dem Ende geöffnet und die Gläser entnommen werden, da sie sonst sehr schnell blind werden.
