SWITCHEASY CoverBuddy for 2024 iPad Pro 11" M4 - Magic Keyboard Compatible Case for iPad Pro (M4), Enhanced Thickness & Heat Dissipation [Keyboard Not Included] - White (Leather)

I bought this to be used with my Apple Magic Keyboard for the 11” iPad Pro. I wanted something that would hold the Apple Pencil safely and add some protection to the corners of the iPad and the back when out of the keyboard; for this purpose it works perfectly. The case is ultra light-weight and thin. There are magnets in it and it holds excellently to the keyboard case. It closes well without adding bulk. I feel much more comfortable and confident with this added to the magic keyboard. Would recommend.

REVIEW UPDATE: Broken after just 3 weeks No longer connects to Magic Keyboard. Very disappointed None of the other cases in the market can magnetise onto the Magic Keyboard while having a place to keep the Apple Pencil. It works but is very thin and does not feel protective in any way - it’s literally just to hold the Apple Pencil and have the back of the iPad covered when not connected to the keyboard. Embarrassed to have paid €80 but I will be using it a lot

Adds much needed side protection to the iPad when mounted on the Magic Keyboard. Does not add bulk and even has a place for the pencil. Great product.

The only choice to protect the sides and back of the iPad Pro when removed from the Magic Keyboard. It allows the case to close without removing the SwitchEasy cover. I fully endorse this product, the only reason for not giving it 5 stars is the price is ridiculous.

This was bought for my daughters iPad and iPen and magic keyboard! Perfect fit for all no issues with magic keyboard!

Despite the mixed reviews of the SwitchEasy Coverbuddy I took the chance with the purchase. I’ve been using the Coverbuddy with my 12.9” iPad Pro and Smart Keyboard Folio for a few days now. So far it’s worked well with my use case although there are some issues that I’m already struggling to overlook: Major; - Doesn’t fit the iPad properly (pictured) and will pop off when not in use with my Folio case - The USB-C port is misaligned (pictured) so will only work with the Apple USB-C cable that came with the iPad (I use an Anker cable for both my iPad and MacBook) Minor; - The volume buttons are much harder to access due to the design of the case - The speaker/microphone cutouts are misaligned Pros; - Protects the Apple Pencil from any knocks - Protects two corners of the iPad that would otherwise have none To summarise, the Coverbuddy is an excellent idea but it needs to be more refined. Unfortunately for me the cons outweigh the pros when used with a 12.9” iPad Pro- it seems the issues I have are similar with other 12.9” iPad users but they are much less common with the 11” model. Maybe I’ll give it a try if I get an 11” iPad!

Excellent item specific for your iPad Pro in use with the magic keyboard. You cannot use a standard case and magic keyboard at the same time so this covers that problem where you disconnect it from your magic keyboard and have peace of mind protection when in use as a tablet. Thin case but the pencil holder is extremely useful. One real bonus is that opening your iPad Pro when connected to keyboard is so much easier with the case. Pricey but worth every penny

The description says it does not affect the operation of the magic keyboard. This is not true. Cannot close the magic keyboard properly with the case in place and this causes the iPad battery to drain. It forces the magic keyboard to sit ever so slightly adjar when trying to close it.

I love Apple products and accessories, they just work! But, in the case of my new IPad Pro 4th generation, Apple’s keyboard/trackpad didn’t measure up to the demands of frequent travel and particularly for its lack of a secure place to stow the Apple Pencil. I was skeptical of the quality and functionality of this product due to its low price. I was skeptical of its ability to securely grip the IPad on the keyboard magnetically, particularly due to the additional protective case around the IPad when its used by itself away from the keyboard. Bottom line: The keyboard, the track pad and the magnetic connection, the separate IPad protection, all perform excellently as designed, and under the rigor of frequent travel. The keyboard case offers solid protection in and out of a soft-sided briefcase. And, the case provides a secure protective slot for the Apple Pencil, while allowing it to remain charged. The case does add significant weight to the IPad, but not greater than carrying a laptop. The case does not require independent charging. The case uses the IPad for power. The keyboard backlight can be turned on/off and adjusted easily. One can charge the IPad normally, or through a USB-C pass-through on the keyboard itself, allowing charging and usage of a USB-C accessory simultaneously. A terrific product at a surprisingly low price. Addendum: After using this product for almost a year--daily use, lots of bumping and tossing into luggage and briefcase--it still performs magnificently. I detect no difference in the keyboard despite the heavy use. The case is still perfect. I love the ability to separate the IPad and then reattach it. It disconnects and reconnects flawlessly.

Es un plástico que hace muy bien la función de proteger la trasera del iPad y no perder el Pencil. Funciona con el Magic Keyboard a la perfección

El material es de buena calidad. Los acabados son buenos. Se siente resistente y facilita la manipulación. El precio es un poco alto pero vale la pena.

The item is nice quality, works perfectly with my ipad's magicfolio keyboard. I just think it's heavily overpriced considering its a case that only covers 3 sides (yes, I understand why) whilst the covers that cover all sides, including front and back, of similar quality, cost like $20 lol

J’avais des craintes après avoir lu les commentaires, mais finalement je suis vraiment très satisfaite ! C’est exactement ce qu’il me fallait, j’en avais acheté 2 autres modèles différents avant et aucun n’était aussi bien que celui-ci. L’aimant tient très bien je n’ai eu aucun problème avec. Bref je recommande, très pratique et fonctionne bien !
