Olrada Traditional Carbon Steel Pow Wok with Wooden and Steel Handle-Parent (Iron Wok 12Inch N)

Let me tell you that seasoning a new wok is really important to make it last a long time and so it doesn't stick. This was my first wok and I messed up the seasoning by adding to much oil. Big mistake. I started over, boiled water for 10 mins, scrubbed it clean with a metal scrubber and some liquid detergent. Then reseasoned it once again. I finally got this colour that you generally look for when seasoning a wok. I then fried some leftover chapati by tearing it into bits till it was burnt to get the new wok taste out then stir fried some noodles. It came out wonderful. No sticking and easy to toss around. Key to making it last depends on how you care for it after each use.

I will say its not really a bad wok and also doesn’t really look like a carbon steel wok. The pan is thin. The handle might break if we are really rough with it.

Better to buy in local market. The quality is low and price is too high.

Beautiful carbon steel wok..just as shown...after seasoning the color changes to steel grey..and its perfectly smooth and non stick now...reviewing after use..the product is value for money

Size is too big and the metal is also quiet thick. Just concerned about the wooden handle and suggest to keep it dry. Try avoiding a water wash to the wooden handle. The wood seems brittle and may not take too many water wash and decompose early. Not a point to worry since it can be replaced. Overall satisfied with the purchase.

This is an excellent well made wok. It's very durable and well made with wooden handle. I will definitely recommend this product, seasoning wok was easy changes color when on high heat, after seasoning looks perfect with non stick surface. Check pictures wok and handle we're same color and how it changes color after seasoning. You just need to maintain the seasoning, after cleaning always keep it dry. I would also like to buy similar wok with flat base if the seller can make some.

It's not actually made for work, quality is very light. Design and styles may be same, it's not even upto the standard. You can get a cheaper price in the market With better quality. You better not buy, it's misleading by their designs. Their shown pictures is not even same with real product. Don't fall into their trap
