Great fit and finish.
Fit just like described. The led headlight I bought didn't fit the stock bucket, which gave me the opportunity to buy a new, shiny one since the stock one was a little dull and had some pitting.

Works well
Very well made, fits my copy HD Daymaker like a glove. Didn’t use the mounting hardware but it looked like it would work well. Best part was the rubber washers for the tension on the mount, not kidding.......they are actually good quality unlike most that you will find pre dry rotted.

Have a skill set.
Good budget housing. Bulb retainer was less than user friendly, however threaded inserts allowed easy modifications with spacer washers. Chrome is very thin, so if you’re planning to brush or scotch brite for that “industrial look”, forget it. Was into the copper layer almost instantly. Mounting brackets work well and are pretty forgiving for different fork widths.

Get your file ready
I bought this housing to install the light on my electric bicycle. It was supposed to be very easy to install (screww few screws and you are good to go, but for some reason my Adjure 5-3/4 light didn't fit and I had to file the opening out quite a bit to make it work. I don't know whether the light is bigger then it should be or this housing is not up to a specification. Also, as mentioned by few other reviews - it is made of steel and mine arrived with few rusted spots already out of the box. I could probably send it back for a replacement, until I get a properly coated instance, but given the sizing problem I've had with my light and the filing work involved - I'd end up having exposed steel no matter what. With this, I decided to just sand the rust off and give it two coats of clear EVERBRITE. Hopefully this will be enough to prevent it from rusting any further. The end result looks okay and blends well with the bike I have.

Good quality material and chrome. Was able to fit it on a completely non-related motorcycle.
Nice job on the chrome plating. It's a good, strong headlight shell throughout. I had to modify it heavily, but it's not the manufacturer's fault. I installed it on a Honda Shadow 600 VLX, where it really didn't want to fit until I found new ways to route the speedo cable and some other stuff that was in the way. Did not use the supplied fork brackets. Those also show decent chrome plating. The headlight shell accepted the SUNPIEMotorcycle 5-3/4 5.75 Daymaker LED Headlight for Harley Davidson 883 (also from amazon.com) without any modifications to the mounting ring. I sure am enjoying the new, brighter light on my aging commuter bike.

Not aluminum it is steel.
Product is rusted. Straight out of the package. Also aluminum alloy doesn’t rust? Oh wait this is not aluminum it is STEEL! Painted. Very disappointed. Junk.

No instructions and not striaghtforward but worth the time....
Wanted to upgrade my Yamaha VMax to an LED.After buying the LED I need a housing and got this to match the chrome theme.Springs are difficult but bending them apart and using a needle nose pliers helps. Look at the pictures on the black powder coated version and have patience. The mounts actually look pretty good and take some time to align. I added some washers to the bolts and needed to used a vise grip to squeeze the clips together. I am very happy with the overall upgrade and look.
