My wife has had two sleeve ironing boards in the past. We got rid of them because they were difficult to work with and were flimsy. After she took a pants making class at a local JC, we ended up needing one and I thought I would toss the dice on this one. It seemed well made (it is) and at $50 I expected it would be better than the others we have owned. We are not disappointed! Its high quality and very stable making intricate ironing easy and my wife is thrilled!

This ironing board is a must for anyone tailoring, sewing and altering suits. It is very sturdy and I have no worry that it will collapse with pressure because it has a metal frame. It sets conveniently on top of my regular ironing board when in use and is lightweight and easy to move when finished. It has two sides which is fantastic. I use it to get professional results pressing sleeve hems and cuffs. Without it there is no way to press a sleeve flat. I use it in all my sewing and tailoring.

This is such a nicely made iron board. Great quality. I rarely leave reviews, but for this, it’s so well deserved!!! It makes my ironing a joy, if you can imagine that word attributed to “ironing”!!!

This is a versatile board that is very petite. It will fit in a lot of places (if, like me, you were wondering where to put something that doesn’t fold); mine is now on a shelf inside a little cabinet (the attached photo shows it with both my standard iron and mini iron in cases next to it for perspective). The size is really perfect for pulling out and using on the fly, or, if you have your “big” ironing board out most of the time, it can easily rest on top of that. As others have noted, the padding is secured with strapping tape, which will start melting and smelling as soon as you apply a hot iron if you don’t remove it first. That’s a bit of an undertaking because the covers for the boards are knotted on tightly. I had to undo the strings with an awl, and then had to use a bodkin to re-thread the string on the oval board cover afterwards. The covers are tight and take some effort to loosen and slip off so the tape can be removed and then some finessing to get them back on again. Not difficult, but something you just want to give yourself some time and breathing room for. The board’s size and functionality are pretty much perfect for ironing everything from sleeves to hems to seams on the fly. I’ve given it 4 stars for two reasons: 1) the wood of the boards is very rough (you’ll discover this when you remove the covers to extract the strapping tape) and splintery — I had to sand mine a little on the edges and then, while the covers were off, I took the opportunity to apply a thin coat of wood wax since it’s very dry. This helped to smooth out the rough texture and moisturize the wood so it won’t splinter further. 2) the board can be a tiny bit wobbly if you’re using it on top of your ironing board because the padding makes the surface soft. I made a rectangle of cloth the length and width of the sleeve part and put some rubberized shelf liner beneath it to use the board on a flat, firm, wood or quartz/granite countertop without it sliding. The firmer surface is better and the shelf liner does keep it stable in one spot. The board also took a l-o-n-g time to get here — Amazon usually gets things out in 5 days maximum; this was projected at 8 days initially and actually took 11 days to arrive. So be prepared for a wait.

Padding is excellent. Well built. Cut time in half to iron shirts.

Best thing I ever bought! Makes ironing a breeze. This padded sleeve is easy to use and makes ironing dress shirt sleeves easy. It also makes ironing dress pants easy as you can iron the waist of the pants on this to. I was surprise how light weight it is. You can iron certain parts of a blazer on this to. There are videos on YouTube on how to do this. I’m also pleased how sturdy is it while place on top of my ironing board. It’s worth every penny. I can’t say anything wrong about this product. It’s just perfect!

I am very happy with the results of this sleeve ironing board, I am sure if you don’t like your dress shirts creased down the sleeves you will enjoy the ease of use with this product. ** the board has 2 options for size on each end so small clothing or larger clothing is iron ready

This sleeve and chest board is great addition to my tailoring tools. Very well made the elbow bracket that hold both boards is very strong and longer enough to keep the board nice and sturdy, and is wroth the price more importantly it’s not has heavy as some of the conventional sleeve boards that are very heavy, you won’t be disappointed I’ll definitely recommend this sleeve board,
