Best whiskey so far
I love the bottle. I like the taste better than Kentucky 74 or Lyres American Malt (Bourbon style) which taste like raisins instead of whisky. It's one of the best alcohol substitutes in my collection. Other Lyres that I enjoy are the Aperitif Dry (Vermouth) and the Aperitif Rosso (Sweet Vermouth). Combined with The Aperitif Rosso or the Amaretti (which is also excellent), you can make very convincing cocktails Rob Roy and Godfather) especially if you make a double and use 2 oz Highland and 1 oz real Scotch plus the sweet "spirit" desired. Just amazing cocktails. My only complaint is the price. I agree with another reviewer that it is the best whisky/scotch alternative I have tasted.

Scotch its NOT, not even close
I have enjoyed good single malt scotch for years, but for health reasons had to stop consuming alcohol. So, I was looking for a non-alcoholic substitute. This product had good rating on other sites, so I tried it. I wasn't expecting the same taste, but something close. In my opinion, it is absolutely awful, undrinkable straight. I asked my friends to try it and got the same reaction from all, in fact a few spit it out. I have had good luck finding some non-alcoholic beers that taste as good as the alcoholic ones, but have not found a good substitute for whiskey yet and this product is not it, not even close.

It's OK
I have been trying several Non-Alcoholic spirits and beers to help reduce me alcohol intake. I was really excited to try this one and unfortunately, there are no places close by that sell it so, I had to order from Amazon. Like all other NA spirits, this is not meant to be drank neat or over ice, you need to mix it. Drinking straight is quite watery with some spice flavors. Mixing it with coke was not too bad but, with the price tag this has, there are some others out there that are a bit more affordable.Maybe I will give the other flavors a shot some other time.

Has that single malt taste
I've been searching for a quality NA spirit for some time now, and Lyre's is definitely superior to any other I've tried. I really enjoyed this Highland Malt. It has that slight peaty hint and a kick at the end. Sure these spirits are a little pricy compared to the real stuff. But if you don't drink and you're looking to capture that feel and taste of various spirits (particularly the London Dry!), Lyres is where it's at.

VERY DISAPPOINTED Taste like lightly sweet water
Very very disappointed. I've been looking for a non-alcohol scotch alternative. I like the smokey/peaty scotches: Ardbeg 10, Lagavulin 16, Laphroaig 10, etc I was hoping for something that had at least of hint of those flavors and maybe some vanilla, oak, butterscotch. All I got was slightly sweet water. And this cannot be returned.

Not if you've ever tasted real single malt, or even whiskey
I drank single malt for years, from the average to the sublime. (My favorite was The Balvenie 12 year d=Doublewood, though having tasted The Macallan 40 once, and the Macallan 50 year Speyside, I'd have to say the Doublewood was my favorite in part because I could still afford it!) And I will note that I've never been a fan of very peaty single malts. That being said, this is, in a word, horrible. It might be just-all-right as a mixer if you like whiskey sours, but beyond that? No.A decent whiskey, let alone a single malt, hits the front of the tongue immediately. Right after that, there's a very distinct aroma that permeates the nasal passages as you linger over the glass. No need to sniff; just a sip, and you're there. Once you've swallowed, there's a very small "burn" - not really a burn in the traditional sense of the word, but a filling up with heat. A few moments later, there's a sense of aftertaste. Just a sense, mind you, not an entire gobfull. This doesn't hit the front of the tongue at all. In fact, the first sip is next to nothing until the aftertaste arrives. And what an awful aftertaste! Whoever put this together has never had a decent single malt, or even a moderately good, inexpensive whiskey. The end result of a sip of this is a pathetic chemical on the back of the tongue, followed by a nasty acrid taste. If anything permeates the nostrils, it's an acidity better reserved for Irish poteen or poorly-made unaged moonshine.I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad tidings, but this was truly an unpleasant experience.

Meh. It's ok...
It's ok. Not great, just ok. I hope they can eventually get the consistency down. It just doesn't have that oily mouthfeel. It's more like flavored water. For the money I think it's over priced but if you can no longer drink alcohol and want to share a drink with friends it's ok. For me, I think the Whisky offering from Monday Spirits is much better (especially neat).https://www.amazon.com/MONDAY-Zero-Alcohol-Whiskey-Non-Alcoholic/dp/B0949WND5C/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8
