Good value basic air purifier/filter
I was sceptical as to whether this would help my allergies, but actually does seem to make a difference. I certainly feel the difference when it's been on for a while, my eyes are less itchy my nose is less irritated and runny, and I'm sleeping better. It doesn't substitute for keeping things thoroughly vacuumed and dust free, but it helps quite substantially, especially if you've got pets and vacuuming is an endless struggle. When on maximum, it does a pretty good job of clearing the air of dust and cat dander in our modestly-sized bedroom, but is fairly loud. The minimum and sleep modes seem to do a reasonable job of maintaining dust-free air once it's fairly clean. You can clearly see the difference in the quantity of dust motes in the air in direct light. It's not the quietest thing in the world - to be expected I guess, it's basically a metal tube with a computer fan in and a filter on the air intake. I would personally have preferred them to spend just a little more on sound deadening rather than the colourful LED lights, but that's just me.That said, the sleep and minimum modes are quiet enough that I can sleep through them. It's just a gentle whirr, I actually find it somewhat soothing. However, if you are very sensitive to noise you might find it disturbing. I can't tell the difference between sleep and minimum modes sound wise, so I think sleep mode is just minimum mode but with the LED lights automatically disabled. It would have been good if sleep mode also turned off the power LED, which is plenty bright enough to annoy me at night, but a small piece of electrical tape over the LED fixed that. This particular model has no 'connected' features, remote control or air quality sensor, so control is entirely manual. It also doesn't turn on automatically when you power it on, so you can't control it with a smart switch either. These features would be nice, but at the price I bought it at I can't really complain. The buttons are touch-sensitive and work well enough, though it can be difficult locating them in the dark.I haven't had it long enough to need to change the filter, but access to the filter is really straightforward, and the replacement filters are available on Amazon, although they're not exactly cheap. I like that it's made by a fairly well-known electronics brand that has presence in a lot of markets; it gives me hope that replacement filters will be available for a while at least. If, like I was, you're sceptical about air purifiers, this is a competent basic option from a well-known brand that will let you try one out without breaking the bank.

Well made effective air purifier at a decent price
This unit seems well made and very effective. The unit is actually an off-white, almost pale cream colour rather than a bright white (which my desk is, see the photo I attached). It takes a standard 3-pin British plug, which it comes with, which is wired to a barrel connector to connect the cable to the machine.Pros:1. This is extremely effective at preventing symptoms from my severe allergies in the small office room. If you have allergies, I would have no hesitation in buying this machine. I've got a machine from a competitor which was around 7x the price of this which is not as effective in the room it's in2. It's easy to insert the filter and clip the unit together3. Fairly quiet in operation4. The lights look fairly attractive, but have to be switched on / cycled through at each power-on5. The filters appear to be readily available at Amazon for a reasonable price6. The unit feels well made and the outer casing is made from metalNegatives:1. The machine is bigger than I expected compared to the photos2. No matter how hard I try, I always seem to forget to switch the unit off when I leave the room. Obviously that's my fault rather than the unit's, but ideally it would have some smart connectivity to be able to control it from an app, or a motion sensor to activate when I'm in the room. For this price point though, it's difficult to expect these features3. The buttons are touch sensors rather than physical buttons. They do beep to confirm you've pressed them, but it's not as solid a feeling as you'd get with an actual spring loaded button

It seems to work? I think
We have an old victoriana house that gets very dusty, quickly.I suffer with allergies so decided to buy a new air purifier since they no longer make filters for my old silent night one (why?).This seems to have helped with my allergies, but the dust must not have been as bad as I first expected, because after a few months the filter is still sparkling clean. Maybe it's a better filter than my old one.The light is a nice feature but I rarely use it.It's quiet, sort of relaxing even, but there is a slight noise even on the lowest setting.

We absolutely love it
This air purifier really does what is made for, clean air very fast and efficient when necessary, his sleep mode is very quiet, ambient light is really nice. It has a sturdy case, fair price filters and a really good phone app that you can control it from anywhere you are. I plan on buying one more in the future to have 1 on each floor, atm we are carrying this one up and down 😀
