The playpen has a simple construction, but still takes a little work to put together. Its portability is more in that it is lightweight and can be moved rather easily. You probably would not want to disassemble it and reassemble it without a very good reason. But its structure is well-padded, sound, safe and very much suited to keeping baby and parent happy. You may want to add a blanket or padded surface to the attached bottom to collect spills or drooling. 3 extra connectors were included, 1 of each variety, in case of future need. A baby board book and 4 colored plastic handholds were also included. A VERY NICE product all around for a very reasonable price. We were very impressed and have no qualms about recommending it.

How can I replace 3 of the Long Pipe with Foam*8 my child was pulling on them and it bent.

As mentioned in other reviews, the assembly isn’t “take out of the box and pop open” and actually takes a bit of time. The written instructions were not the best but figured it out from the pictures just fine. Put it together in a little less than 10 min (and that was with baby’s “help”). Once it was half assembled, baby crawled right in as if he knew what this was meant for! While I was still putting together he went straight to the serious business of playing. I figured when it was all done he would realize that he was “trapped” but he spent the next 45 min just playing, allowing me to get some cleaning done! It is quite big. And I anticipate the "folding" will be a pain, as you have to remove the poles from the connectors to get it in the travel bag. I was hoping for an easy up/down assembly so that it didn't have to take up so much room all of the time. This won't necessarily be a put-it-up-just-when-needed thing; you have to commit to having it out and taking up space most of the time.ALSO—didn’t get balls with this. 48 hours after assembly I just realized it was included in description but I never received them. Hmmmm. Took one star off, but not a deal-breaker

This playpen is one of the best around. But building wise was a pain. I’d give it a 6/10. But the end result was def a 10/10. My son would rather sleep inside the playpen then his actual bed. Plus the added zipper to allow my child to go in and out is so clutch! Def worth the buy imo!

This is perfect for our twins. They learned to crawl and walk in this! Definitely add a foam play mat though. And it’s large enough for two parents to be in with two infants. So great. Use daily.

I bought this play yard for the summer to spend time outside with my great grandson. It is very sturdy and very well made. He has plenty of room to play and run around, but yet, he is in a safe enclosure.

My granddaughter recently broke her other playpen, so this purchase was a no brainier. It is spacious with to fit her bed inside as well as her toys. Great investment.
