Just what I needed for my furnace.

When the package arrived it had 1 piece that was broken. I reached out to the seller and they were very quick to respond and resolve the issue. As for the ceramic board it worked great just like I hoped it would.

Arrived faster than earliest estimate. Some trivial "deformation" (see right side of bottom edge in photo) from shipping... not a problem. I shopped around: it was a better deal than thinner versions offered with Prime shipping and as good a deal available on auction site that lacks Amazon's strong guarantees. I am very pleased with this order. I'll make a 5x6x20 heat treat oven for machetes and camp knives; will post another pic when finished.

Easy to cut to shape, came well packaged so no shipping damage, Can't really test it's effectiveness because it just sits in the top of my fireplace. My only complaint is it's very expensive.Oh, and use a dust mask of some sort and gloves when working with this stuff.

Very durable. I lined my gas forge with this and it is awesome! Gives back the heat to my work! Will buy this again after it wears out! I'm running about 2400 degrees and I run it for at least 1- 2 hrs at a time.

I put this in a forge that I built. used it on the sides and top and coated it with ITC 100, seems to holding up really well.

Works excellent recommend it to anybody that wants to build a forge
