These are much better than the traditional cutting wheels for rotary tools. I needed to cut the damaged part of a fender off so I could unbolt it after an accident and didn't want to use a deeper & more dangerous angle grinder. These worked very well to cut a 4' long curve by hand with a rotary tool, don't break as easy, and last a fair amount of time for what they are.

These Dremel cutoff wheels work extremely well and are very durable. They will easily cut through thinner gauge mild steel, which was my use case. Unlike the regular Dremel cutoff wheels, these last for many many cuts and are less prone to shattering. Now for a few cons, non-off them which have to do with the actual cutoff wheel. The screw for the shaft to mount the disks is not reverse threaded, which is not screwed down tight enough will undo itself while cutting. Second is the packaging. They come in a zip-lock bag, which does not protect them so well if they are not shipped in a box (mine weren't). However none of the disks were broken, so I suppose that is a testament to their durability. All in all, I highly recommend these. Excellent value for the price and quantity you get!

Speaking of leaps in technology... The last time I used dremel cutting wheels was 20+ years ago; even used carefully & properly, would still go through 1-2 per cutting session. With these fibreglass reinforced ones...done multiple cuttings (all steel, one aluminium), I *STILL* haven't gone through the first wheel: it looks barely used compared to the others. While, Yes, the diamond ones are the best, these are shockingly durable & great for the price. Would buy again, though at the rate these wear, may not be buying more for some time lol.

Just what I needed. It comes with mandrels, 1/8 th shaft size. These are 1.5 inch diameter, and are less than 1/16 in thickness. With that said, these are fiberglass reinforced. I haven't had one break, they just do their thing nicely. Way better then the D brand, as far as price. I put them in a used up medication pill container, works great for storage, room for the extra mandrels too.

These cut off wheels outlast my standard Dremel cut off wheels by a factor of 10 at least. Very pleased with their performance.

They wear down decently quick when cutting metal, but at $5 for 50 of them that means nothing. They cut well, get the job done, and work well for small amounts of grinding too. My only complaint is I wish they came with more mandrels since they sometimes bend

Very thin and easy to break, however, if you are using them for very lite cutting, they work well if you use 2 -1/4 Inch wide flat washers with a center hole the size of the mounting screw, put 1 on either side of the cutting disc and sandwich it tight with the screw, if you don't do this they break everytime in the center where the screw is
