I use this EVERY day for my 4 and 2 year old. I keep it in an easily accessible location so that I can grab it whenever I need to set a time limit on something- i.e. screen time, dinner in 10 minutes, time for pajamas, etc. It’s so handy that it has two different beeper volumes and a flashing-light option for when you need quiet. It’s easy enough to turn that my 4yr old has no problem. No issues functionally. The *only* thing is it’s been dropped a couple times and the batteries have popped out, but I just taped over the compartment and we’ve had no issues. I would purchase again!

I love this! My daughter gets easily distracted and loses track of time. Telling her she had so many minutes to complete a task didn’t work, but this visual timer does. Now she can look at the time and SEE the color slowly becoming less and adjust her speed of completing a task as needed. This has been super helpful in our home. I like that when the timer rings it is super easy to shut off, turning the light off and on is also super easy. I recommend this product.

I bought this for my son who doesn't quite understand elapsed time yet. He loves "beating the clock" when it comes to using this as a motivator, and he's starting to understand how long 5 minutes is when it's a timer to turn things off.What I love about this is that it has two volume presets for the alarm, but also that it has the option to be silent and it uses a light to flash when time is up. Not only is that lovely for my overstimulated self, but it also is accessible for those hard of hearing.I thought it was a great value for all of the features and very easy to use.

This timer isn’t trying to be anything too fancy. If you need advanced features, stick to your smartphone. For what this is advertised to do, it does it well. It’s simple and kids and figure out how to use it (which is my use case). The nightlight feature is nice and makes this a useful product in low light. The timer loudness and sound options are suitable. The look of this product is simple yet classic without being an egg timer. The batteries seem to last, but it is a disappointment it’s not a rechargeable battery, but that’s not a deal breaker. It takes AAA batteries.I had to order a replacement for this product because the first one that arrived didn’t work. It was very likely broken in the box during shipment. That may be indicative of the quality of this product long term, however I’ll withhold judgement since I haven’t seen anything wrong with the replacement.

Great little timer with options for flashing light, quiet or loud alarm when timer ends. Can also have the background light on or off. My 4 year was struggling with the concept of time, but loves setting this himself and watching time pass. Can’t speak to durability yet as we’ve only had it a few weeks, but love it so far

There are many sixty minutes timers but not like this one. Its analog, circular clock face has sixty ticks with every five minute interval numbered. So what, nothing new here. But wait, the area following the minute hand changes from white to blue indicating elapsed time. This active visual aid, simple as it is, makes learning to count and understand elapsed time concrete and far less abstract. Moreover, it can also be used to introduce simple fractions.
