Eat your veggies...in different shapes
I bought this based on a certain cooking TV show review, and normally they seem to recommend the most expensive items tested but this time they didn't. This thing rocks. It has super strong suction cup feet which are needed since while you are cranking the handle to turn the vegetable you want this thing to stay in one place. It has more than enough cutting plates that all trim the vegetables into different shapes, it is easy to clean and it comes with a stiff bristled brush for you to remove any scraps of vegetable that might stick to the blades. You never have to get your fingers near the sharp blades and it is easy and safe to remove the blade plates. I first tried a hand held spiralizer that sucked and for a long time just considered this spiralizing thing a fad that would go away. But the more I move to a veggie centric diet the more I wanted to be able to change up how I prepared vegetables. The base unit holds 2 plates and they give you a covered container that holds the others, I keep the 2 I use the most in the base. Yes it is another item I have to find room for in a cabinet but I use it more than other appliances. It doesn't require electricity and it is easy to clean, I don't put it in the dishwasher. I can cut carrots for slaw, salads or soups. I don't like hard chunks of carrots but you can do thin ribbons of carrots that are easier on your teeth. I have done sweet potatoes for the air fryer. I think it would work well for medium sized beets, apples, zucchini and other hard vegetables. The price is fair enough to justify trying it if you want to increase the chance of you eating more vegetables.

Works great for so many things!
I've had this for several months, all through the growing season and use it regularly. I'm impressed with how effectively it works with a wide variety of vegies; classic zucchini spirals, slicing onions, carrots, cabbage, beets, potatoes + more. Its very quick and easy to set up, clean up is a breeze. It sticks to counter well; never had issue with slipping. Seems durable. I had to study blades & instructions to figure out which blade to use for which result, after that - simple. After using cheaper spiralizers, I'm very happy to have this one. I can do so much more with it; less wastage of vegies and so much easier to use. Highly recommend!

It performs as stated.
I like the one from Papmered Chef better. I thought this would be easier, and less hassle to get out and use. It's about the same hassle. It does the job for the price.

6-Blade Spiralizer
I bought the 6-Blade Spiralizer version. The suction cups work well, though I do recommend pressing it up against something raised, like a chopping board to keep it stable while you cut your vegetables. The Spiralizer can store 3 blades total on the machine. The 6 piece comes with a plastic storage box to put your extra blades that you aren't using. Switching blades is really easy. Just pull the old one and insert the new one. The plastic material on the slicer is really glossy and smooth. The mechanical action of the slicer slides easily and stays stable. It doesn't really hold onto to food or liquids so a quick rinse is all you really need to clean the machine after use. I've also bought and used the Benriner spiral cutter. There are a few caveats that this cutter has in comparison to the benriner. The vegetables have to be fairly centered/straight or else it may have trouble staying on. Softer vegetables sometimes have trouble staying up as the cutting face is horizontal rather than vertical. The Paderno slicer also leaves a small cylinder of material behind which is kind of annoying if you don't like random odd shaped pieces. Overall, I do like the Paderno slicer over the Benriner. Pros: Easy to use Easy to change blades Easy to clean Stable Cons: Vegetables have to be fairly straight and centered Leaves non-spiralized material behind Sometimes softer vegetables have issues staying up/cutting

Great Product and huge time saver
Cutting onions julienne way is a breeze (cut a slit in the onion to avoid spirals). When making onion fritters it reduces the prep time to minutes and tear free. can cut multiple onions in minutes . used for chopping cabbage , carrots, zucchini. I am using it for last 4 years and it works amazing.

Plastic, stains, food waste. NOT GOOD!
I used it but the love fell away and don't use it anymore. I felt frustrated with the fact that the middle of whatever I am using becomes a wasted long stick of whatever?? Food wasted. So, I got me a mandoliner instead to use all of the food. Like everything else, it was a fad. It did get stains after using. So, that too was a bummer. One more thing, it is plastic! Did it spiral, yeah! But, it wasted food!

A great product!
I rarely write reviews, but I’m making an exception because this is one of the few kitchen tools I’ve ever bought that was just as easy to use as the video portrays. I bought it so I could make my own zoodles and I was not disappointed because it actually does make perfect zucchini noodles. In under a minute! Clean up is a breeze and it even comes with a sturdy brush to clean the blade after use. Assembled, it’s compact enough that it easily stores in my cupboard until I’m ready to use it. A great safety feature is that there’s a place to store each of the blades when not in use. I highly recommend this Spiralizer by Paderno.

Great, study, efficient
This thing is GREAT! We got the 6-blade version- a huge upgrade from the little handheld spiralizer I have used in the past. Probably the best feature is that it has suction cups that help it stay in place while using it. Our first use was with beets. I was unsure how the spiralizer would do with these hard root vegetables, but it had no issues, and with the suction cups, the unit didn't budge. It was fast, easy to use, and roasted spiralized beets is a new household favorite! It does take up a bit of space, but it's worth it for us! Really love this gadget.
