I used this light strip to illuminate the wall in my living room. I bought these strips for the first time. I have used these leds before, but I did not buy them without a design. Really high quality and flawless light source. Not like other leds. It illuminates everywhere at the same level. This light was 5 meters and more the length I was looking for. The perimeter of the decor on the wall was 4.8 meters. There are some rules that you must pay attention to, especially if you are going to experience it for the first time like me. 1-) Never use very cheap and useless double-sided tapes. Use common brands or strong tapes. Because these strips are not paper and cheap product. It has a great design and you need to stick it well. Adhesives adhere well to the leds, but if they do not adhere well to the wall, they will separate from the wall. 2-) If you are going to use it by folding it, definitely use Z plastic for the corners. These plastics are great add-ons that keep the led strip stable. 3-) If possible, the lights should not point to the left, right, down or up. Use straight straight. It is also very easy to cut and assemble. If you have a soldering machine, everything is very easy. It shows me where I can cut the neon light. It needs to be cut right in those places. After cutting + and - are connected together. Soldering was easy...(+) and (-) marked on the strip. After this product, I'm thinking of throwing away all the normal leds in the house. Now I just want to use Neon because they are so high quality and amazing.

I have done a few jobs with this product now and found it to be very good with light distribution, ease of use even when cutting and soldering and compaired to stuff i use in the past it superious even in its presentation. The silicone rubber used which does not break and can be bent or even tied in a knot gives a nice feel to the touch and i have routed this flush into a plasterboard wall to have it illuminated the wall it self with no issues. Posted a few images of some jobs i have done and i intend to use these products in much bigger jobs as they hold their brightness evenly across 15meters (provided its wired correctly). Also if you do have a problem the seller is happy to sort it out and answer questions.

Great lighting and very flexible to turn right angles when fitting with slatted wood panels ..good range of brightness.. Would prefer a remote control option for dimming as getting to the dial is a pain at times .. If you can find one with a remote jump at the chance ..

I have had several strip lights before but this one is different. Previous versions have had an adhesive strip and the light is emitted from the opposite side. In this version there is no adhesive side and the light is emitted from the side of the strip. This does mean that you have to mount the strip with the included brackets which are held in place with screws. Therefore be aware that it may not be the best choice if you want to mount this over surfaces where you are not happy to use screws. In comparison it is not the brightest strip light but it is a very even light, with no visible leds and it's quite flexible. It can be used with an optional dimmer connector, which is supplied. It also has its own power supply. With the limitations above I am happy to recommend.

I do not write reviews for anything ever, however as I was so impressed with this product I felt compelled to do so. The neon light string is very flexible, can go round 90 degree bends with ease, I used this light string to go under wall cabinets in our new kitchen, needed various lengths so was very impressed how the string can be cut at 2” increments, you need to be a little careful after soldering the power supply cable contacts as I found the contacts broke off the light string a couple of times, this is easily avoided by cutting open the light string one increment back to allow the wire to be supported better securing with no nonsense clear silicone and allowing to dry if your not impatient, didn’t like the holding clips supplied so used Amazon double sided 2mm thick jelly tape and it works so well. Excellent product, if your looking for the professional touch at a fraction of the cost look no further !

Nice enough light but there are no markers for where you can cut them to length. Also when connected to a 12v power supply the wire gets hot quickly

I am really, really disappointed with this Neon LED Strip, it has some BIG, HUGE design errors a 360° nonsense! Let's start with the good things (since they are few). Good things: - Excellent intensity of light both at the highest and lowest level. - Waterproof (halfway) - Very resistant silicone. Negative things: - In the images of the Ad they show that the body of the "Neon Leds" being made of silicone can be modeled as you wish, (NOT TRUE!). Well, yes, it's true, you can somehow give it many shapes, but what is not shown in the pictures is that those shapes are limited by different factors. For example you cannot install it in a "Linear" way because having a "Rectangular" shape (AND not round) it cannot bend in the corners! and therefore you are forced to do some "Wider curves" and you cannot give it the direction you want, which would not have happened if the product had had a tube or tubular shape if you prefer say. - Very invasive and ineffective method of application to walls! Really absurd that to install this Neon LED Strip I have to make holes in the wall! they could devise an adhesive system to do it! - The Neon part is Waterproof and that's fine, ok, BUT! the rest of the wire (the electrical part connected to the plug) is not! what is the point of making a thing resistant to water, if then a part of it is not? is it for making fun of people? I had to cover the wire box with plastic to make it waterproof! (see photo).

Nice light strip, diffuses light very well and its quite bright. The light strip gets quite warm towards the beginning of the strip and is colder towards the end, this indicates to me that the cable carrying the current is not thick enough. This is a major fire hazard. I even cut the light strip to around half length and the same problem occurs, although less so. The light strip does not require 12V, in fact this is the maximum voltage at which it consumes around 1.5A. The light strip comes on at around 6V very dim and consumes much less, around 0.5A. Use a voltage changer to adjust to your preferred brightness and safety level. The instructions say to not use a resistance based voltage divider. The Amazon description says suitable for temperatures between -350c and +200C but the instruction booklet says -25C to +55C (just like the "other products" example, how ironic!). The light strip doesn't clip into the included brackets, the light strip merely pushes into the brackets and you must hope that it stays there. In case of mounting to a ceiling, it falls out, you must use some other mounting method. There are not enough brackets for the whole 5m anyway. The included screws can be used combined with some small cable ties to securely mount the light strip to a ceiling.

Used several of these in the cool white -with timers- for above our kitchen cabinets (have a different type for under-cabinet lighting) & bought more -in the warm white- for our china & wine cabinets. I love how easy these are to install & how beautifully & subtly they light up any room. These are definitely far better than the rope lighting we used to have. Love that they're dimmable, user-friendly & very fairly priced!
