I opened it to pour a liquid into it.. and it wouldn’t re close.

It did the job
This did work for going on a cruise. However the lid is very hard to get on and doesn’t feel secure. I was very worried to get my luggage back. I put it in a ziplock bag just to be safe. It did make it to my room in my luggage with no leaks. It wasn’t worth the stress and I wish I purchased a one with a cap that snaps shut.
