Can i playvforard and rewind on the same track?

You can skip or go back one track but can not fast forward or rewind within a track.

I'm an apple podcasts guy. can i sync my podcasts to the device so that i can listen to them when i'm swimming?

If you have an mp3 download of the podcast, you can load them onto the headphones. The Bluetooth connection does work but only if you are doing surface swimming. Being submerged under the water past a certain point will not work with Bluetooth.

Does it support BT multipoint connection (2 devices simultaneously)?

Not 100% sure but I would bet not. I have seen no mechanism for doing so.

I've read a lot of the Q&A and see that you can download music and audiobooks. Where do you download those from? I only stream, not purchase.

You need to purchase the audio, it's easiest to burn the cd to a PC then transfer the files via downloads folder, the Bluetooth won't work under water so streaming is not a possibility while submerged. You could technically download the mp3 from Amazon but audible files are not really transferable.
