These work exactly as advertised.
Let's be honest; if your door is a janky mess, new hinges aren't going to substitute for replacement doors/tracks. BUT- If you're just tired of the doors bowing in every time the wind blows these things work GREAT! I've installed them on 2 of my 3 4 panel doors, and will be doing the 3rd soon. The doors are also much quieter. I'd strongly suggest getting some sealed bearing nylon rollers at the same time you install these hinges. One stone, two birds...Will definitely buy again.

Best Hinges money can buy
Just got these today and installed them right away. Product comes with pretty good and reasonably comprehensive installation instructions to show what it can work with and what it cannot. The build quality, material, design and execution is excellent. I am really happy and will recommend these to everyone.

They work great!
Just like the ads say, my insulated garage doors had gaps on the sides, letting in cold. When the wind came up they rattled terribly. I looked at these hinges, and thought they were expensive for what they are, and I wondered if they worked as good as the manufacturer claimed.Well, they do. The gaps are closed, no more rattling. No more cold air coming in around the doors. The door is quieter when opening and closing. The instructions are easy to follow and installation was extremely easy. This product works and is worth every penny. If you have side gaps and rattling doors, buy these!

Have the knowledge and ability to readjust guide tracks
These hinges are well made and can make or break you garage door if you don’t have a clear understanding how mechanical things work. I’ve read some of the 1 star reviews and the complaints listed clearly shows that these people hadn’t a clue of what was causing what they were complaining about and blamed these well made hinges when really, they’ve failed to understand mechanical function of things in general and not just these hinges. If you feel you might be one of these people, I would recommend that unless these hinges are the same EXACT over all measurements as these, DO NOT ATTEMPT TO INSTALL THESE. Unless you’re willing to learn how to readjust the roller rails, you may be in for a big (they don’t fit) surprise. It’s not that they do not fit, it’s that YOU do not have the skills nor understanding on how to readjust guide roller rails/tracks. As far as the manufacturer, where they’ve failed and really do deserve the poor ratings from these folks, you did not include any instruction with the package. A simple guide about general readjustment of the rails/tracks would save you poor reviews. Not everyone is aware of what to do when the door ends up too tight against the wall. Nor any serious warnings about the cable pulleys and cables etc. it really wouldnt take much to show a step by step loosening of the vertical side rails, one side at a time so that you can move them in and out before starting. Without removing any hardware yet, carefully examine the vertical side rail of one side only. DO NOT LOOSEN the top rail or the other side just yet so it keeps things together while you change out each hinge one by one starting from the bottom #1 hinge NOTE when loosening the vertical guide rail/track, do not remove the screws. Just loosen them enough so the you can pull the door away and forward back and forth to the wall. If you’ve got that, you’re ready to begin changing out the hinges one by one. NOTE: (THE LOWER VERY BOTTOM BRACKET IS NOT A HINGE, it’s a bracket that has lots of spring tension pulling upward on a cable that assists the very heavy garage door to be lifted easy by the motor. If you taken that off and it pulls up on you, STOP RIGHT THERE AND CALL A GARAGE DOOR SERVICE PERSON. It’s obvious that you do not know what you’re doing if this happens and you better get some help before you end up with a serious injury.Starting from the #1 hinge remove the hinge and set it flat on the ground side by side with the new number one hinge and compare. Is the new hinge taller than your original hinge? This is why the vertical rail was loosened before starting. You will need to adjust the rail as you work your way upward changing out the hinges. Now if you’ve made it this far and you’ve managed to follow these directions and changed out the first hinge successfully without destroying anything, work your way up to the next 2 or 3 hinges depending on how many panels you have. Work your way to the top hinge. So as you remove each hinge place it side by side with the new hinge. Remember, If the new one is a bit larger in height, this is why you need to loosen the vertical rail because it will need a bit more room to be installed correctly. Once you’ve replaced all 3 of 4 depending on your panel count, pull the rail back and fourth gently but firmly. This will allow you to see where the door sits flush against the wall. Carefully look from the side where you’ve loosened the screws to allow the vertical rail to move. Gently and carefully push the rail toward the wall so that the gap closes between the wall and the door. Gently hold the rail about mid way and tighten that screw in the middle. Now starting from the bottom, finish snugging down the screws to re-secure the rail back so that it doesn’t move out of place. NOTE, you may notice, if these new hinges were taller than the originals, the seam where the vertical rail meets the curve in the horizontal rail, they are not longer aligned. Now it’s time to loosen the horizontal rail so that it can be pulled slightly away from the wall to realign the roller tracks together. Take caution not to remove any screws. As mentioned earlier, the cable and pulley are under a large amount of spring load tension pulling upward. If screws are completely removed, the assembly could possibly come all apart and unwind. Attempting to reassemble these parts without the proper knowledge could possibly cause serious injury and or garage door damage. If you’ve managed to successfully get the guide track aligned and secured, repeat these steps for the other side.Note: after installing these successfully, check the other moving parts to be sure they’re also secure. Retighten any loose screws that weren’t part of the hinges like the inner body hinges, garage door pulling mechanisms etc. those parts can also fail or be loose as well. You’ll be surprised that some screws were loose when they actually appeared tight. If you hear cricks and cracks after changing out the hinges, more than likely other parts of the door mechanisms are possibly loose as well.As far as the product, they’re nice quality. Build wise, pretty firm but a bit bouncy. I don’t really care for the bounce. Maybe just a bit heavier spring would be nice or a shorter swing on the oval hole where the hinge allows for misalignment. Well for doors that are well aligned, the spring tends to bounce the door a little bit seems it would put a little stress on the inner hinges when bouncing. Maybe not. I can’t tell as of yet. I’ll have to see how they fair over time. The fit and finish is excellent. Very nice looking, not to mention the heavier gage metal for the hinge itself. Like I said just a little less slot and a bit tighter spring would make them perfect. Just to limit some of the bounce.Over all, I give them a solid 4 stars. Would have given 5 if instructions were included for others who aren’t quite knowledgeable about mechanical function of things in general. The second reason was the bounce. Not really a problem, but a concern. With that said, compared to other hinges available, there’s really nothing better. My 4 star rating is a general public rating. Beings that I personally do not need instruction etc, I personally give them a 4.75 stars myself. I like them. With a bit more examination and refinement of my adjustments, I was able to stop the bounce to just a slight silent movement. There’s really no way to get the door so perfect like a well running motor. It would be over kill and a bit of a time waster to attempt it.Hope this review helps to make a decision about purchasing. If you don’t feel you can changes these without fear, buy them anyway and have a garage door service install them. Your door should function well and quietly after. If you hear loud noises after they change them out, be sure the service tech checks other functioning parts for tightness. Noise means something isn’t working as designed. Don’t let them tell you that’s just how the doors are, because they are not, if everything is functioning correctly.

Huge improvement to how garage door seals!
Work absolutely as advertised. Very easy installation as well. Our house is oriented so we get almost daily wind blowing at our garage door and these have stopped the wind from creating gaps between the exterior seal and the door.No gaps has resulted in less dust, pollen and dirt, as well as a reduction in bugs. Even our temperature is more controlled now even though we do not gave an insulated door.0 impact on the opener being able to operate the door either. Super satisfied with this hinge set.

Expensive but works and makes a difference in temperature
Very heavy-duty type hinge.May not work properly if your rail is to far from door.Did increase garage temperature by at least 10F in winter.

Solid product, great company
purchased for a residential garage door that is 18 feet long five panel high and insulated. had almost a one inch gap on the sides of of the garage door.as soon as I received the hinges, it was clear they are heavy duty and much better quality than stock hinges. Swapping them out was incredibly easy and the instructions were pretty straightforward. They also provide a link to watch a video on how to swap them out. I needed two additional hinges as I did not read the description fully and have a 5 panel door. I ordered from the company directly on their website. Within an hour of placing the order, they reached out to confirm I ordered the correct parts as they were packaging them up and about to mail them.so far, there’s been a clear difference with the hinges installed and completely closed the gap on my door. I purchased because I had heard great things about the product, but now definitely recommend because of the customer service.
