Just right
I was torn between the 4 or 5 star rating. I gave these 4 stars because I want leg warmers like they had in, I believe it was the 80's. Those looked better, and were longer than the ones I've found on Amazon. I am very pleased with how these here fit. The elastic holds up perfectly. Despite my ankle measurements being 10'' and the largest part of my calf being 14 1/4'' these neither slip down nor feel snug. You can, of course pull them down should you prefer. I thought they'd be too tight so I only placed an order for one set. Now that I know how perfectly they fit I'm going to place another order for those really cold nights when I want to be sure they reach just above the knee. These actually will, but I prefer to wear them with the slight loose folds look. I'm even considering a 3rd pair for fingerless long gloves. It only takes a few hand stitches to make the ''thumb hole''and even less to make the finger holes. I've done it before and it came out perfect... and my sewing skills are pretty much, sewing on a button and stitching up a small part of a seam that's coming loose.

Stylish leg warmers
The leg warmers were ok and would have worked great for shorter boots. I went ahead and gave 5 stars because it wasn't the fault of the seller that the leg warmers were shorter than what I wanted and was thinking they were. I was hoping for longer, thicker ones, but they were nice.

Not as long as listed
These were only 24" long, not 27" and they do not stretch. I needed these to extend up to my thighs when walking outside in the winter and just needed longer leg warmers to cover where my coat does not.

These are great!
I have medium size legs and can wear these over leggings or straight leg jeans, no problem. They don't fall down at all! And they are not tight. So comfy with perfect amount of stretch. Really keep my legs warm.
