Mueller Ear Forehead Thermometer for Adults and Kids for Fever with Ear Temperature Probe and LCD Display, Non-Contact Body and Surface Thermometer, Auto Shut-Off, Gray

This thermometer is by the far the easiest I have experienced in a long time. I am a nurse practitioner and actually brought in to work with me since all we have is a tympanic (ear) thermometer here. This allows use to be contact less and more considerate and accurate if patient is having ear infections. Very easy set up, came with batteries even!! Super easy to use and quick!! Definitely thinking of purchasing one for the clinic to use so I can have mine back!

It's nice to have the option of checking the forehead or ear, as I find the ear to be more accurate. But the manual gives good tips on how to take the most accurate temperature (i.e. not right after a bath, being outside, sleeping, etc). It has a crazy quick reading! The one thing that's okay but odd is when the thermometer is in position to read you then have to hit a button to start the reading. I'm sure it helps it be more accurate, but since you can't feel the button just make sure your finger is on it before putting it on yourself where you can't see. Otherwise, no complaints so far.

It took me a minute to realize that this thermometer wasn’t malfunctioning, it’s just really fast, which is good when you have squirmy kids lol it turns itself off after 30 seconds and I was waiting, thinking it was still taking the temp. It’s really sleek and easy to use. Only complaint would be the battery compartment makes it hard to get the bottom battery out.

This thermometer is well built and extremely accurate. Love that you can use to scan your forhead or easily pop off scanner cover and use in the ear. Easy to change between F° and C°, beep or silent. It has a memory, so when you turn it on, the last temp displays automatically. (memory can be cleared). As you can see in photos, if you have a significant temp, it first shows in red and if you have speaker on, it will give a triple beep alert. Normal range temps show in green. It has a 30 second auto shut-off to keep the battery lasting longer. The only negative I've come across is the handle shape. It's semi squared off and I feel it would be more comfortable if edges were rounded more as well as if handle was curved rather than angled. It might also benefit from a cushioned grip or ergonomic grip.

Well made but not accurate. I knew I was running a fever due to Covid and got tired of the old fashioned mercury thermometers wait times. I decided to to purchase this. The mercury thermometer read 99.and this one read 98.2. Won’t use it anymore. Sending it back

The Mueller thermometer is easy to use. I took multiple temperatures and it is accurate. Awesome device at a great price. I would recommend this is you are looking for a fast way to take a temperature.

came quick, very easy to use and worked like a charm. Definitely worth it. Handy to have with my daughter who often needs to be checked for her head and ear temp as schools are getting a lot more picky about sending back kids to school if off sick. Plus point is that it doubles up as an ear temp also!

I was impressed with this thermometer when it arrived. It is thinner, sleeker and lighter than the thermometer I previously had. I like that the display screen has 2 colors-green for low temps, red for high ones. I was pleasantly surprised that 2 free batteries were included so I could put it to work right away without having to buy my own. And I like that it comes with the inner ear cone too to test that as well. Should be a great thermometer for my personal use.
