What i like most at down side where holder present at down side the straight some space for little amount of air passes through it man "my hands are sweaty" while playing for long sessions but this coolpad slove my problem lol XD Now my hands are cool too.. NOTE:im using compact keyboard 61 keys Performance- Straight playing for 8 hours AAA & Games BF1, RDR2, GTA V, Cyberpunk2077, Mafia definitive edition, Mafia 3 all on very high or ultra settings recommend setttings IMPROVENTS IN FPS AAA titles in 144Hz - charger power supply plugged in. After coolpad 4-5 fps 59-65 incriment temprature improvements 87-93 constant Before coolpad fps 57-61 temp.- 90-95 very much hicups.... BEST THINGS i like about this evofox frost NO NOISE 1000RPM 100% NO HEAT ON NET100% i thought after playing for 8-9 hours straight i just pickup my laptop and touch instantly on the nets mannn it's COLDDDD not heattttttt!!!!!Confirmed & touch back side of laptop too no very minimum heat feels lol it works wonder for me.... not like other coolpads heated surface on lol its cold for real! BEST PERFORMANCE i got on Battlefield 1 PC Online FPS constantly remain at 144 FPS cap BEFORE COOLPAD- fps generally drops to 120-136fps sometimes reaching 110fps after long sessions AFTER COOLPAD- fps remain mostly on 144 now improvements min -127fps , average- 139-40, max -144fps

So I purchased the Evofox Frost (normal) one on November 2023 (as you can see from to help my laptop cool down a little. The product was pretty basic for the higher price it was back then (INR849 compared to today's INR699). These laptop cooling pads do not directly help in cooling the CPU and stuff (I saw little to no difference in temperature data) but they do help a lot in cooling the exterior of the laptop, which actually makes even the weakest laptops work well in medium to high performance conditions. This cooling pad back then made my weak laptop run games with high graphics for hours (for example Assetto Corsa with many mods) when it can't even run for 10 minutes without the cooling pad. The wire did fail after 3 months though so I had to buy a new one. I also removed the metal mesh in the meantime because I kinda find that fox thing cringe, and that actually made the airflow 50x better. Since then it worked non-stop without any issues for like more than 2 years with super easy cleaning and proper functionality until now when one of the toddlers in my town broke the main USB hub somehow lol. From then I bought the plus version and the start was already pretty terrible due to the fan speed control and provided cable being defective, so had to get a new replacement. After I got my replacement (one you can see in the other photo along with its video), everything went well as the wire and the fan speed control were working. The improvements I saw in the plus version were detachable phone holder, slightly faster fan speed (barely noticeable but it is a bit faster), good fan speed control and the metal mesh finally having a decent design and good black paint (I find the big "EVOFOX" on the mesh good). Looks were great, performance was great and so far the improvements were good. Already used it for 10 days and till yet no issues. So for now, do I recommend this? Yes if you own a decent laptop but may not be useful if you are using a gaming laptop. Works very well if used and maintained the thing properly. Its just this company has to always recheck their products because I do find some defective things in them, but if everything is good then it's going to last very long with great performance.

Quality for the price paid is worth it.

The USB ports are not very sturdy; they feel like they could break at any time. Also, if you're particular about the size for your 15-inch laptop, this might not be ideal—it's a bit small. However, the best part is the fan. The fans are really good and operate silently without making any noise.

It is a good one, working fine, and also you can carry it in your laptop bag when you travel.

This is not useful at all, using it for one day and i realize my money is wasted, it is more like a simple table not a cooling fan, it is not cooling my laptop even 3-4 degrees, totally waste of money. I wanted to return this item but it can only be replaced not returned. I used EvoFox mouse and its working good from 1month so i trusted them but i realized not every product from same brand is worth paying money. My ROG strix is not even cooling little bit i though it will gonna make the temp down to at least 10 degree, but i am wrong.
