My child has sensory processing issues, and has a super sensitive scalp. He would literally run and hide when it was time to brush his hair. He wanted his locks long, but it was always a fight to get the tangles out. THEN THIS BRUSH CAME INTO OUR LIVES! I originally bought it for doll hair, but I thought it was worth a shot! It worked! The brush doesn't pull his hair, so he has less anxiety, and no more running from the brush! He'll brush his hair himself now. It was such a blessing, I ended up buying another one for myself. We love our brushes! They aren't just for dollies, but work for the whole family too!! I can't thank you enough for your product!! If you have doubts, please don't. We ordered this for my daugher's 18" dolls - paradise kids (cheaper hair, rooted) and Gotz doll (very nice hair, rooted). The brush works very well on both. It's small enough to fit my 8-year-olds hand comfortably, but not so small that that it's uncomfortable to me. We can both use it with ease. The bristles seem sturdy and don't fall out, even working with very tangled hair.If you're wondering whether it's worth your money to buy a separate brush, vs. just using a brush you have at home, I have to say after trying both, this one works so much better than one with plastic bristles that are used on people. I also understand that human hair oils can transfer to the brush and shorten the life of dolls hair if the brush is shared. I can tell you that the metal bristles work SO MUCH BETTER on our paradise kids dolls, who have tangled/frizzy hair much of the time, compared to the regular brushes we've used at home. We've only had the brush a couple of months now, but it's holding up well and works very well on the dolls. Hope that helps!

Okay, anyone who has ever had a kid in the house with a doll knows the torment of the floofy tangled hair. This was our problem. Granddaughter got an American Girl Doll but alas, no brush. In a week Saige (the doll) looked like a crazed heathen with her hair all tangled. Saw this brush and decided to take the plunge with this one instead of the American Girl brush. I am very satisfied.The price is very reasonable when compared with the price of AG brush. Very sturdy plastic handle easily fits the 6 year old's hand as well as mine. No tiny brush here. The size of the AG brush is small since it is most likely made for a child's hand. The bristles are all metal and comb through the tangle very well. And the best part of it all, according to my granddaugher, IT IS PINK AND SPARKLY!!!! LOLI highly recommend this brush.

I bought this brush for my daughters' dolls. They are not American Girl dolls, but cheaper alternatives. Two daughters have a doll with straight hair and both have liked the brush and said it worked very well if you brushed carefully and gently. My daughter whose doll has curly/wavy hair wasn't impressed with the brush. She said it didn't really work, and the hair didn't get brushed but instead was all tangled and messy afterwards. I can't tell you if it might have been caused by my daughter's careless brushing, but it's possible that the brush isn't the best fit for curly doll's hair. I might have to try something different for that. The brush itself is nice, feels sturdy and well made, and is a pretty pink color. I hope it lasts a long while!

I wasn’t sure this brush could do what it was described to do but after reading all the good reviews I had to give it a try. I’m so glad I did as this brush is pretty awesome. It doesn’t take much work to get the brush through the dolls hair which is really nice. I tried it on a couple barbies and on an Our Generation doll which is a cheaper version of an American Girl doll and it worked great on all of them. After receiving it, I started grabbing other dolls so I could get their hair looking great again after my 5 year old daughter made them look a complete mess. This was such a great price that I’m buying one for my niece to use on her dolls as well.

Bought this for my daughter’s doll’s hair because she loves to style their hair but she’s 4 so that ultimately leads to knotted doll hair. This brush is the only thing I have found that helps.

These hair extensions are very long. I don't think any of the dolls I donate have hair this long. If I cut extensions to match the hair length-I will no longer have "curly" hair. No instructions. I'd like instructions on how to shorten and make hair curlier for the dolls that have curly hair. Although pretty I would not buy again since few of my dolls have hair this long or wavy. I need about half the length and curly (not wavy).Sophie's is a great company, and I would buy their items again, but not this item for my dolls.
