My dual fuel generator that I run on propane uses a propane connection regulator. Testing my generator as I do every month, I discovered the propane connector had cracked and not usable. Bring it looked to be a replaceable part I contacted the generator company first and was told I had to order a $60 replacement assembly, no separate parts available. It was only in stock in Canada and I would have to pay shipping to the us and tax. So I checked Amazon and there was the exact part from different sellers for $8.99 +smaller tax. Having prime, it arrived in 24 hours and was easy to install and is working perfectly. Amazon came thru again. $9 instead of $70+!

This worked great to replace the old connector on my portable gas heater. The old one I always needed a wrench to get it on and off. With this new one I can do it by hand. Definitely worth the price.

The propane connector had to be tightened quite hard for this to form a good seal. But for the money it was acceptable as I eventually did get it to seal and work
