Flexitol Happy Little Bodies Eczema Relief Cream 2oz

Babies come up with some weird skin rashes that come and go; however, since we are prone to eczema in our family, I thought I would try this cream to see if it was effective on my nephew's cheeks and chest. A little bit goes a long way, and he didn't complain at all when I rubbed it gently into his skin. It took a few minutes, but I could see the redness recede, and I thought his cheeks and chest look less inflamed than it had been.The active ingredient is 5% colloidal oatmeal which is always what I look for because that's one of the only ingredients that I've found to be effective on skin rashes, and especially eczema. It's a great product!

Didn’t help my son. Feels like it came back more aggressive than before.

Every time I get stressed I break out in patches of eczema. Because I have extremely sensitive skin, regular eczema cream often makes the problem worse.I prefer to use cream for babies and children, which is much more gentle.Yesterday was one of those high stress days. Unwelcome as those patches of itchy red skin were, at least it was good timing for me to test this cream.Almost immediately after use, the itching stopped. It started up a little again in a few hours but a second application has all but the faintest bit of red -and no itching- left today.Even though this is a gentle formula, it worked much quicker than any other cream I’ve used. I’m sure the quickness is important when you have little ones who don’t understand not to scratch.The active ingredient in this cream is colloidal oatmeal, which is perfect for sensitive skin, either in children or adults.

I thought my daughter would be free of eczema with this but didn’t see any difference feels more like a regular moisturizer.wouldn’t buy again

Didn’t work for us

This eczema cream comes in a small 2oz tube size. It's promoted for kids but I am using it as an adult to stop the senseless itch from dry skin. It has a medium consistency, feels a bit sticky for a minute after application and then absorbed quickly. I applied overnight and I did not need to reapply until the next day. Hint to seller: I need this in a larger tube at lower price point!

Neither of my kids have very extreme cases of eczema, but they both have small patches every once and awhile. I wanted something a little more tailored to eczema than their standard lotions, so I'm happy to have this on hand. The container isn't huge, but with the way we use it, it should last awhile. If I was using this daily on large sections of their bodies, I may feel differently about the price and benefits.All of that being said, this has worked well for our needs. My girls have both had small patches that have responded well to this cream. It goes on pretty light, which is nice. I tried it on a patch of my own skin that was red, scaly and irritated, and it helped, although it did burn a little bit when I put it on. I don't know if that skin was just extra irritated, because neither of my girls had any complaints about it.

When it comes to baby cream, we tend to buy those without any scent since our baby seems to have bigger reaction to those have scents. And this one is great without any scent. These kind of relief cream is always a good helper for us to prevent our baby from scratching himself too much, and have red itchy skin, especially during dried winter season. This relief cream provide enough moisture to our baby’s skin to reduce that itchiness, and you don’t need to apply a lot to see the difference, so even though this is a small bottle, it’s still going to last a while for us. If you have baby who often scratch their skin, give this a try, it might help to improve that like it did to us!
