OWC 1TB Aura N2 NVMe SSD Upgrade Kit w/ 1TB Express USB 3.0 Compatible with MacBook Pro w/Retina Display (Late 2013 - Mid 2015) and MacBook Air (Mid 2013 -Mid 2017)

order came earlier than another order placed with OWC directly. SSD being used to upgrade old macbook pro as the original SSD went dead. Cheaper to buy 1TB than the same original size of 250GB.

I was happy with this item as I needed it to get extra storage on my Mac book pro, so I replaced the original ssd with this one, but unfortunately yesterday the ssd stop working, even with the disk utility the computer stop recognizing the ssd and I bought it like 4 months ago, luckily I had saved the old ssd. I’ll need to see if there’s some kind of guarantee as I believe the item is still pretty recent.

I have been waiting quite a while for this to come down in price to upgrade the measly 128 GB of storage on my MacBook. It was easier to do than I thought and now I have external sd storage as well. 👍

Easy, quick upgrade for Mac memory. Swapping the SSD board is straightforward and only took a few minutes. I had backed everything up using time machine and it was an easy exercise to transfer everything over to the new memory. Much cheaper than buying a new Mac and the SSD holder provides a useful external drive.

The Aura N2 case screws were so tight that they stripped the screw heads trying to open it up. Very disappointed.
