Lightweight, Portable Folding Chair for Bleachers and Benches

Rating Criteria is as follows. If the product works as is advertised and the quality is in line with the price then I give it five stars tentatively, then deduct stars for usability problems, functionality problems, flaws, quality, etc. My wife and I sit through a fair amount of high school sports, and sitting on plastic or metal bleachers is very uncomfortable. We searched around quite a bit and finally decided to buy these. We are so happy with them; they have made a world of difference. Without these, we would be fidgeting and getting up to stand alongside the wall or something on a regular basis, but these make it possible to watch the entire event without shifting around or getting up or even thinking that you are uncomfortable. Pro: These are very sturdy. Neither me nor my wife are very large, I'm six feet 160 lbs and my wife is 5'6". So from a comfort perspective, these fit us perfectly and I imagine they could accommodate someone who is quite a bit larger. There is an upper limit, I'm sure, before the seat would just be too narrow but neither one of us is close to near that limit. Similarly, the chair is not going to deform from even rough usage from either of us. Sitting down quickly, or accidentally falling down onto the chair heavily hasn't done any damage. The seat back remains firm. No wobbles or squeaks. As far as comfort, which is the primary reason we bought them, they are perfect. You forget that you are on a bleacher and can just concentrate on the sport. These are not "lightweight" but they are not heavy. I think if weight were your primary concern, as far as packing these back and forth to the venue, then just be aware that these have a steel frame, not aluminum or titanium. Switching to a lighter frame would either sacrifice strength or increase cost. For us the weight was not a concern and I think most people will be fine with the weight. Con: The only "con" I can list is that although there is a hook on this, it only works on a certain type of bleacher, not the ones that are most common (as far as I have seen). Basically, if you are sitting on a bleacher that doesn't look like a wooden plank for the seat, the hook won't do you much good. You can see I gave this five stars so didn't deduct points for that, but I've seen other stadium seats listed where they explicitly tell you that their hooks require the "plank" bleachers. I think its generally on the consumer to understand the product, and the ad copy doesn't rely upon the presence of that hook to make the sale so I didn't hold that against them. Further food for thought, if I had to purchase seats again I would at least consider getting ones with armrests. I didn't think of it before ordering these and don't know if I would like them, but its just something to think about. Conclusion: There are no functionality problems; durability over our first season has been great; quality seems great; no flaws have become evident, and my only concerns are related to my own personal use and changing understanding of how I might use a similar product. If you are searching for these, you'll see that there is a wide range of prices for stadium seats. We were tempted to buy cheaper ones, and are glad we chose these. If you are OK with the hook system and don't want armrests, I am confident saying you will not find a better quality stadium seat no matter what you pay. This is just perfect for what it is. You may get lucky and find similar quality cheaper (I doubt it), but you won't find BETTER quality at higher prices. This is a great product.

Great value and nice quality. Comfortable! A bit heavy for my use but actually lightweight compared to other stadium chairs I’ve used. However, I specifically bought this for paddle boarding and for that it is not a good solution. The fabric at the top of the back rest comes up so high and it’s pretty sharp and irritating so when you paddle your back arm hits and rubs that point. I suppose if you are really tall, tall person or broader, it might work for a SUP. I’m a size 6 and 5‘8“.

Sturdy, comfy and light!! Love it

I needed this to sit on while camping it was very convenient. I loved that there was a strap because some of my friends had one but it didn't have a strap attached and it was harder to carry with hands full with other things. It was very supportive but one thing to keep in mind it to not make you upper body weight more than your lower or you'll start to lean backwards.

I dont go to sporting events enough to need a seat for the stands but this seat works great in my kayak. took a little modifications but it fits well and is very comfortable for trips down the river. skip the game and put it in a kayak and get out to the outdoors. it's more healthy than eating hotdogs and peanuts all night.

No more hard bleachers for me! Very light weight and easy to carry with the convenient strap. Comfortable to sit in.

Great chair. I pack it with me and use it faithfully at any arena that doesn't have a back rest. It's very comfortable and solidly made.

I use this as a kayak seat on my paddle board and it works great

It is simple and sturdy. I'm 218 lbs and my butt didn't hurt after sitting for 2 1/2 hours . My back was good too. The underneath hook is secure and simple Even if you do the want the hook just leave it sideways and it won't interfere with your seat on the bench that may not have room for the hook. I've o ly used it 4 times but so far the support is there for the bottom and the back. Note the back will seemingly last forever. I have a small foam pad that you can add to it if ever the bottom support goes . So it's worth the 70

La use para meditacion unas 6 horas y no tuve ni incomodidad en sentaderas o espalda y me toco a muy buen precio, buena calidad en la tela, en las costuras. Es una inversion si es un poco pesada pero es parte de que parece de uso rudo sin perder lo estetico.
