A Real Cut-up
This was a “tool only” sale. There are nothing but the saw, a blade, the “shoe” , and a set screw for attaching the shoe to the saw. You must provide the battery either from another Ryobi tool or a new purchase. Given all of that, the saw was very easy to use for trimming up a few trees we had in the backyard. For what this tool did and what it will do for me in the future, it was a very good price.

Handy tool.
I bought this hoping to make my life easier removing some bushes and stumps. I bought some 9in blades to get below the ground, and it was fantastic. It probably saved me hours of hard labor already, my son and I removed our first shrub and a 30lb root ball in 30min. The battery got us through the first stump with not much life left, its the smallest stump so I purchased additional batteries for the rest of the job. It has good power, cuts well and is easy to handle.

Hard working machine.
Hard working machine. I'm clearing stump out of my fence line that have been here, seemingly, since 1968. They gone! Would willingly buy again if it was stolen.

WORKS WELL
i JUST NEEDED THE SAW AS MINE DIED AFTER A FEW YEARS. DESIGN IS GOOD, WISH BATTERY LIFE WAS BETTER, ONLY NEEDED SAW. LIGHT WEIGHT BUT CUT PIPE AND PLASTIC PRETTY EASILY.

It is a nice improvement over the earlier Ryobi saw and that one lasted for YEARS!
My old Ryobi reciprocating saw died after helping me build three houses and many years or wide ranging and solid work. It worked great and thought to get a replacement. This newer version MUCH upgraded over my prior one and so far I like it a lot. It is lighter. They changed the safety so it is easier to use. The handle fits my hand better. The power is great. Would recommend.
