I used a net to protect plants from being eaten by some creatures (lizards or iguanas?). The mesh diameter and height is perfect for the plant. 4 grids is enough for protection.

It's extremely difficult to get the wire as perfectly flat as in the photo. You will have to unroll and sandwich between boards for a few days to actually get it to be somewhat flat to work with
