I finally got to use this on my gas grill. With a fresh tank of Propane, the heat was near 500 degrees F. Clouds of Hickory smoke were emitted after doing its work flavoring my beef. My neighbors had to be jealous for the feast soon to be enjoyed.I did find that soaking wood chips just adds time to the process. Why water soak the wood chips only to have to dry the wood chips to get the smoke? Wood chips are cheap and easy to add with the swing lid on this stainless box.

So much easier than firing the smoker or charcoal when it's below zero. Took a bit to figure out how much heat to put to the wood chips with the torch but worked great otherwise. Unsure as to the longevity of it but will update if it falls apart.
