Not Actually Sugar Free
I need to avoid sugars for SIBO purposes. This product is filled with a sugar called Allulose. The Amazon listing title claims it's "sugar free", which is false. Research demonstrates that while the body does not utilize Allulose for energy, the bacteria overgrowth in your small intestine may. If you are trying to stay low-sugar for bacterial related autoimmine problems or for SIBO, avoid this syrup and look for ChocZero or Lakanto brands, which are actually sugar free.

Best sugar substitute
I am extremely sensitive to artificial sugars and aspartame in particular makes me feel really weird..... I was hesitant to try this but I’m glad I finally did. It gave me no bad reactions and no bloating or acid reflux issues. It also taste really good!!!! I think the aftertaste some people are talking about is more from the maple syrup flavoring...cus it’s the same taste I remember from a high quality pure maple syrup and it’s really not bad. I only noticed it in my coffee but I couldn’t even tell in the Greek yogurt.

Tastes Very Close To Real Maple Syrup
This is the closest zero carb maple flavored syrup I've tried. The flavor is very good and it is fairly close in thickness to real maple syrup. The only two things I don't like is that they used caramel coloring in it and it is so expensive. It is organic coloring but I prefer to stay away from any added colorings.

Best Tasting Sugar-Free Maple Syrup I’ve Tried
If there were a contest for sugar-free maple syrups, this would take the top spot, imo. The flavor is spot-on. It’s not high-grade Canadian maple syrup (nothing is), but you could Maxwell House this stuff into a Mrs. Butterworth’s bottle and sneak it into any random roadside diner, and no one would know the difference. It’s that good. Its only real negative is that it’s stupid expensive on Amazon for a single bottle. The price is much better on the company’s website, but there are shipping fees, so I suppose it depends on how much you plan to order as to whether it works out to being a good deal. The standard digestive warning also applies. Exercise caution if you’ve never tried anything containing allulose before. Different guts respond differently to various sweeteners. I have no digestive issues with allulose, but it’s always smart to start with a tablespoon or two at first to see how your gut likes it. If it doesn’t agree with you, that’d be sad because it’s very tasty, but there are lots of other syrups out there with sweeteners you may tolerate better.

Good taste. This
Good taste. This, combined with KNOW waffles means I can enjoy something with the rest of the family and not just sit there inhaling the syrup they're eating and being depressed.

Get ready to spend time on the toilet!
The first time I had this syrup, I spent hours on the toilet with diarrhea. Thinking it might have been something else I ate or a flu, I had the syrup a second time. Exactly the same results. Apparently, this syrup may work as a laxative.

Just YUM
This stuff is delicious. In fact, if I didn’t know was low cal and low carb I wouldn’t know as it tastes as close to the real deal as you can get. Even better, just a tablespooon goes a long way so one bottle lasts longer than I would have expected. Five stars all the way!
