Great product. Works great. Construction of tool is great.

I used to always do work on cars using only your standard breaker bars and torque wrenches, no longer. This impact is extremely impressive and it sure is the size & weight to show it. As long as you've got a 1/2" impact socket for it it will take it off or put it on without a fuss. The selectable torque figure works rather well. I put on a whole lift kit saving hours simply using this thing. Those 5Ah battery packs also last surprisingly long too and unlike a pneumatic I can bring this anywhere. The main drawbacks I see are: 1. The size (obvious), this will not work in some very tight spaces but luckily that's rare. Universal joint sockets and extensions seem to solve this problem for the most part. 2. The LED is not that useful overall. It can work but the massive metal front actually blocks part of the light and it needs to be at the right angle. A ring light around the socket or on the sides behind the metal housing would have been better IMO.

Worked great for 15 minutes then it quit. I changed battery still wouldn't work. I will order a new one and hope I have better luck.

This thing is a beast. It will break torque on my f350 lugnuts. I recomend this to anyone who needs portability and needs to tighten and loosen blts and lugnuts regularly.

This makes removing and installing bolts and nuts a breeze. Stuck bolts/nuts are no match for this. Works great on wheel lug-nuts and fast, too! This is the one you want and worth the money. DeWalt KNOWS how to design (check out their USB cables too, you won't be sorry)!

If you are trying to do some automotive work and don't want to waste time, make sure you pick up this tool. Loads of torque, good quality batteries that are useful with dozens of Dewalt tools and worth every penny. It's heavy duty, weighs quite a bit and is created to destroy stubborn, rusty bolts. I believe that time is money, and this item will save you a plethora of time. I looked on a plethora of sites, compared different well-known brands and found that this purchase was the best product(s) for the money.
