This 20-foot training leash has been a fantastic tool as I work with my dog toward her Canine Good Citizen and therapy dog titles. It's especially helpful for practicing commands like "wait" and "stay" while building distance and trust. We recently attempted the CGC test. She failed—but to be clear, it was not the leash’s fault! My 50lb pit bull is sweet, enthusiastic, and very passionate about jumping up to kiss people. Adorable? Yes. Helpful during a formal test? Not so much. That said, this leash is sturdy, comfortable to hold, and gives just the right amount of freedom while still keeping control during training. It’s going to get a lot of use as we continue working toward our goals. Highly recommend for anyone doing obedience training or wanting to give their dog more room to roam safely!

I got this to start training my newest puppy who I found out was part Belgian Malinois LOL he does very well with it at only 7 weeks, it is way longer than I thought it would be, I guess I forgot how long 20 ft was, very nice quality for the price and super easy to use.

I actually purchased four of these in total. The size is exactly as described. They are very good quality. The difference between the two sizes offered is the hardware/clip. The smaller size offers a smaller clip, which works perfectly for our 11 pound dachshund. The larger size offers a bigger clip that is more sturdy for a larger breed dog. Which it is perfect for our 70lb coonhound. I purchased two of the larger size and two of the smaller size and purple. The purple is extremely vibrant and has not faded in color. I actually clip two of them together with a carabiner and we use them when we are camping. They have held up extremely well.

I love the long line you get for the price on this leash. This has been a great training tool and I have multiple of these in different colors so I remember which leash is which! I have a couple of acres that are not doggie-proofed with fencing and I wanted my dogs to be able to run and get some good exercise and be able to explore all whilst having the assurance of them being on a leash to keep them on my property and out of harms way. The leash isn't the most comfortable to hold in the hand and for normal walking I much prefer the Halti leash that has multiple rings to adjust leash length. But those leashes can't give me the footage my dogs would like unless I buy a ton of them. That is where these leashes really hit the mark is having the availability of different lengths. I have a 30 ft and a 50ft but have used 100ft lines in the past. I try not to use too long of a line as I have found that one of my dogs will chew through the line if he catches a paw around it rather than lifting his paw back down onto the ground. My dog will chew through this leash in seconds and although I could (and have) stitched long leashes back together again on the sewing machine, I now stick with a shorter, 30ft long line for him. The increasing lengths are great for working on recall training giving them a bit more footage as they get better. As you can see from the pictures the stitching is satin stitch to hold the end of the leash down after the manufacturer has stiched an X to help hold everything secure. The leash isn't thick, it is a skinny nylon tape but it holds well as long as your pup doesn't chew through it! I have bought a number of these leashes to have around the homestead as well as lines in the car and the camper for when we are away. These are good for giving your dogs extra space to run on the beach, fields, hiking in the woods all whilst keeping that peace of mind that they are not going to run off entirely if they get distracted as long as you can keep a good hold on the leash handle of course! - Would I recommend this leash to a friend with a new puppy? Yes! - Would I buy this again? Yes! - What improvements would I wish for? More comfortable handle and maybe a thicker/chew proof section closer to where the clip attaches to the dog for a few feet.

Lightweight, durable, and strong. Just what I was looking for. Perfect for training my new puppy to track game in the woods.

I acknowledge that This was designed as a training leash, and should be used for that purpose mostly - I completely agree But I have been using it as a tether/tie-out and it has worked SO much better for my dog…(vs. the metal cable tie-out that I’ve I have used in the past!) And plus, I can easily transition it to a long leash if we do leave my yard and want to walk further! it makes it great leash simply by inclipping it from my front porch It Is basically just a really long leash ; and when my dog gets his legs tangled up in it or around a person’s legs, it doesn’t hurt anybody, Lol! I would not recommend for anyone with a young, active and/or chewing dog because this thing could break if the dog was left alone and unsupervised!!!! but it has been an amazing comfort to me to be able to do the laundry with the front door open, and the dog free to go in and out of the house without the worry of him getting run over so , it has been a really nice “tie-out “ to have for my 13yr old lab/Great Dane mix who just needs a little bit of fresh air and a roll in the grass while I get supper ready , etc Also- I love all the color choices!! Couldn’t decide on one, so I chose the rainbow one, and have gotten many compliments on it 🌈👍😎

This was my second leash from them. This one was a disappointment, I'd had it less than a month when the metal clip seperated. It literally came apart where it swivels. I was lucky my pup recalled as we were playing in a park next to a busy road. The first one lasted a year but eventually the dirt and water wore it down and it snapped. Overall I really like these leashes, they allow my pup freedom to move and for the price the first one held up.

First time used on my labrador puppy and he chewed through it within 5 minutes. I looked round and saw him running off with me holding the rest of the lead. Very disappointing

1 semaine d'utilisation et la longe a brisée à deux endroits. Ce n'est vraiment pas fiable ni solide. Chien: golden de 90 lbs. Je ne le recommande pas!

use it to play ball in park, bylaw is strict with off-leash dogs. meets standards

Make sure to order the wider/thicker option if you have a large dog. It’s a game changer compared to the regular size. Last much longer! The clip works great. Swivels and easy to open.
