Good quality and price for beginners.

Fantastic quality, it is grippy

This is a decently good beginner penhold ping pong paddle. Though the rubber is not top-tier, its quality is definitely better than the ones you could get from department stores such as Target and Walmart for the same amount of money. It is decent and gives you good spins. The edge around the short grip is not smooth and when you play for hours, you'd feel it hurts a little. You can just use fine sandpaper to smooth out those edges. The only thing I am still getting used to is the sound when the ball hits it - it sounds a bit hollow when I am playing defense, I guess it's because it's carbon fiber rather than the typical wood. It's lightweight and for some reason I feel like I have more control with it than using my custom-made paddle with Chinese rubber. If anyone who like penhold paddles, you should give it a try and it is definitely better than the ones you'd get from department stores.

updated 1-26-24 Pro-Spin responded to my comment very quickly and they offered and sent me a replacement paddle a few days later. the new paddle's edges were not sharp and thus is more comfortable for pen holder player to use. as a further recommendation, I commented to Pro-Spin that if they can design/make the edges even more rounded, then I would pay a bit extra for that feature alone. 👍 very few pingpong handles are designed for pen hold style, so I was very thrill that this pingpong paddle said it was designed for pen holder's grip. unfortunately, the edges were very sharp and it bites into the index finger. it was too painful to play only after a few minutes. I tried to sand down the edges, while it helped some, the edges were just not round enough and it still cause painful bites. I gave it a 3 stars (instead of 1 star) because the rubber action for spins is very good. I am disappointed overall though, too bad,,,,,

I noticed the shape of the edges in the product pictures but thought it would have been an easy sand down. Until you try to do that, you realize it's a bit delicate...you can't put back what's taken off. And you realize a little bit sand down is not good enough when you actually play because the tight penhold grip requires a smooth curve just right! I'd consider the product unfinished. I don't think it should be sold unusable out of the box like this. Otherwise, this would be a quite usable paddle for beginner to somewhat midlevel casual play.

I found this paddle to offer a very good balance of control and power. For the price I consider this to be an exception value. I’ve been playing table tennis for more than 20 years and have my share of disappointing paddles so this is a welcomed exception!!

Bought a few different brands for myself, PRO-SPIN, DHS, STIGA. Surprisingly this one with half of the price of others feels the best. The wood paddle feels solid. The rubber is about right. For pen hold handle, I had to use sandpaper to make the edges smoother. Don't remove the protection film before you do this so that you won't have a hard time cleaning the rubber after.

I’m not very good at ping pong. This made me a better player. Good quality. I can put serious spin on the ball now.

This racket says exactly what it says it does,it has lots of control and it is light ,fast,spins well, easy to use and it perfectly preforms well!I would reccomend this racket for beginners or intermediate this racket is worth the money! 😀

Der Penholder Schläger hat wie erwartet gut gespielt. Schade nur, dass ich keine passenden schon zugeschnittene Ersatzbeläge finden konnte. Das Zurechtschneiden ist nicht jedermanns Sache.

The bat is of good quality but the case is flimsy and coming apart at the stitching when arrived but 40% off I'm happy

I love it. It was very good to play with. Very bouncy the silicone. The pen grip was pretty firm. There was no splinters on the wood part which is great as you do not want to get hurt while playing. So far the silicone part has not come off yet.
