Slim, well constructed 1RU power strip
I use this in my homelab to power computer and networking equipment. It works perfectly well for my needs, and everything is up front and accessible which is exactly what I wanted for my application.The rack ears are not removable. If you don't have a network or A/V rack with 19" spacing, maybe pick a different power strip. All of the outlets are on the front of the device. If you want stealthy / hidden outlets, pick a different device. About my only complaint for the device is the power cord could be slightly longer.

a good power strip for a rack or hot
This is a good, solid metal power strip with the hardware to mount on a standard network rack. It has a power switch that also has a cover so that you do not inadvertently turn off the power. The rack-mount-brackets are not removeable, but they don't look terrible if you use this strip without a rack.

So far so good
I have this mounted in a gator case with a X32-rack mount board. Seems to be doing the job so far. I do wish the jacks were spaced out a little bit more, but for my purposes, it works. Having the plugs forward facing is convenient for my specific uses to allow for easy teardown after gigs. Good budget option for rack mount power supply!
