I was looking for something to cover an old twin mattress so I could use it as a dog bed. I didn't want the dogs laying directly on the mattress, as the mattress itself would be hard to clean. I felt that the dogs would scratch up any regular plastic protector I'd find at the store. I ran across this in my search and decided to try it. It's a thick, tarp material that they have (so far, knock on wood) not put a hole in. I zipped it around the mattress all by myself, slapped an old fitted sheet on top, and the dogs love it. I just change the sheet when needed. It is a bit bigger than a twin size. A full *MAY* fill it out. But I just folded the excess under the mattress, no biggie. Works very well for what I needed it for.

This is the 2nd set that I have purchased (the first set is currently on another bed that I am moving). The movers enjoyed having these on the mattress as it made them easy to move and I didn't have to worry about my mattress getting dirty during the move 😀.

We used this to protect our foam mattress while tent camping, seemed to work well for that, we are able to make the bed and then zip this closed during the day and that should be another good layer to keep small bugs out and any rain that trickles into the tent. We like it.

Okay, well I was going to buy a new bed because of some uruly kitty behavior enzyme cleaner and nature's miracle didn't get out.Crib version is not waterproof. This is probably good for a one n done move but the interior coating seems to rub off. So the waterproofing doesn't hold up vs bouncy kids or friction.So this was meant for the new bed but due to budget crunches.. I gotta wait.It definitely is a sturdy raincoat/umbrella type of material and soft enough to actually lay on.Bed fits well with room. I have the max height for this and there's a bit or room top and side so it could probably be pushed a little bit. Zipper is fine.We have an uruly boy kitty that keeps marking me as his everytime anything male gets in my bed..So even with the enzyme cleaner and everything else I tried I was sure I was gonna have to toss my bed.Nope.This sucker is scent proof.It has its own vaugely wet acrylic paint kinda smell but doesn't smell toxic.If you're looking at these to protect your bed or possibly save one from fur babies..I 100% recommend.Waterproofing, it might get condensation on the inside but it's about as waterproof as a tent, umbrella or rain slicker. Mostly water will bead and roll off.But maybe I got lucky. Let's hope it's possessive boy cat proof.However, this is the first night in weeks my bed and room has not remotely smelled of cat urine so...I'm more than happy with my purchase and will likely get a backup.Given it looks like I'm gonna get down and kinky w the handles which are at head and foot of bed on top and on bottom not the sides of the mattress.The actual material is really nice and the interior is lined with the silver coating like the pictures.Ironically, I had a waterproof mattress cover on my memory foam bed... Yeah the zip on kind. That did nothing.Totally was worthless.This one I broke out a spray bottle and it seems at the very least more resistant to fluids.Full on buckets like kitty von doom. Idk. I'm still trying to figure out where he hides all that fluid.That said for now at least my sense of smell and sanity aren't under assault.I bottle fed that lil jerk from birth too. He had one of those huh what kitty mom's and a heart problem.Sigh. So I adore the lil bugger but in all my years working w animal care and rescue I've never had a boy kitty with such stinky pee or a girl for that matter.Lawdy.Anywho. 10/10 recommend this for other pet owners who find themselves in my unfortunate quandary.Saved me from a full on immediate bed replacement.

We used this to cover a crib mattress to use as a dog bed for our massive very good boy. It’s not a tight fit for the mattress but it is still a good fit and our dog is happy to lay on it. It does make just a little bit of noise when he moves around but no loud crinkling. 10/10 if you are using it for its intended use as a cover for moving or storage. :) Close to 10/10 for dog bed use 😉 maybe I’ll add another layer of foam inside of there to make it a tight fit to look nicer. But it repels his fur, even, and I highly doubt we’ll need to wash it any time soon.

Nice soft material, Twin size fits perfectly over a XL twin mattress. The straps and silver lining are a plus. Will need to move three times, the durability will be tested.
