Stormate Collapsible Garbage Bag Holder - Thetford 36773, 13 gallons

This collapsible garbage bag holder is extremely portable and fairly easy to assemble. It holds the trashbag tightly in place even when it's full. I like that it has a lid so the smells don't linger around. Not the most sturdiest set up (made from thin PVC), but that was not my expectation. I just wanted to manage my trash better while I was camping. This contraption fulfills it's purpose just fine. It was a good buy for the price.

It is perfect for setting by my above ground pool. Lots of empty cans, bottles and chips bags during the day. Now they are contained in one place. It is a bit flimsy but it is not made to be strong. It's an easy popup trash can. Love it!!!

We are using this with our tent trailer. We took it with us last weekend and it seems to work very well. It was super easy to set up. The parts all slide together nicely and seemed to stay together without problem. Nice and snug fit. I didn't realize it, but the top is actually 2 parts. A lid and a ring so that the trash bag is held in place by the ring part and you can close the lid after putting trash inside of it. We filled the trash bag up very full and it wasn't until the bag was stuffed full that it started slipping from the ring. Understandable considering the bag was so full. At the end of our trip, I just wiped down the pieces and it collapsed quickly and easily for storage. It does look a little flimsy, so you might consider putting a rock on the base, i you are in a windy area. We didn't have this problem, but I am anticipating that this could be an issue as it is made of light material. All in a all, it worked great for our weekend adventure!

It works great for its use of being in our camper. I enjoy that I can fold it down to put it away by undoing the poles from each other. I enjoy the bag bar as well, that helps keep it in place so it doesn’t slide out or off. I did NOT like that when I opened it, the hives for the lid were not there. Totally missing. It should have had some Sort of clip or pin but there’s nothing. Didn’t realize that until we were in the middle of our camping trip and had to use this that it was shipped Incompleted from production. All well. I improvised with a thinner stick. Did the job fine for the duty. But I would have rather had what it was supposed to. I would probably buy this again. But not offline, likely in person and one that’s not plastic and flimsy. Something more sturdy and has longevity.

Used this for a 4 day camping trip with a group of 20 people to put their trash in. It only took a minute to set-up first time. I really like that it has a lid to hold the bag in place separate from the lid. It’s 100% plastic so no need to keep it out of the elements when it rains during your camping trip (it will rain sometime during your camping trip, sorry to say). It is tippy like other commenters mention, but honestly I would rather it be lightweight as designed over something heavy just to prevent it from tipping with lopsided trash or a strong wind gust. Lightweight also made it easy to move around the campsite. When full, I found that the legs flexed enough to get the bag out through the side, but worst case you could pull off the top if needed (this never happened to me). I used our prep table to support the back of the trash can when empty so it didn’t tip over. 13 gallon trash bags worked very well with this trash can. Quick and easy to disassemble and it’s ready for our next camping trip. Now it’s no more handing trash bags off the travel trailer bumper, water spigot post or other odd places around the campsite that no one can find.

Perfect for camping, more durable than it looks and doesn’t take up much room

I hardly ever write a bad review but this is the worst made product that I have bought in a very long time. It doesn’t hold your bag up because there is nothing to secure it to so when u fill it up with a few items it slips out very frustrating. Then to try to get the bag out when there’s things in it is also ridiculous and frustrating. Used it for 3 days and I lost it with this trash can and threw it away. It wasn’t worth the aggravation. I should’ve returned it! Don’t buy it save your money for something better!

Bought this for my RV because of the limited space and dogs walking around the floor area, so I'm able to perch this up on the back of the counter slide out of the way and still be convenient when I'm cooking and others can access it also. I like the idea that I can make it half the height that is shown in the ad. I normally dispose of trash quickly in an RV not to run the risk of odors and ants. It seems like a lot of money for what it is, but it solves my problem and the fact that I can just break it down quickly when we need to pack up, the six support pieces fit inside the bottom and the top snaps over top makes it worth it, so I can just tuck it under the sink and tada! gone and secure.

I had my place up for sale and wanted a bag holder that I could pack up and store whenever there was a showing. I ended up buying and liking this more than my actual rubbish bin. It's easy to setup and disassemble, it's sturdy, the legs are height-adjustable and it all packs up into a neat little package. Now since I sold my place, I use it for picnics or barbeques and just put something heavy in the base so it doesn't tip over.

Prototype for waste recycling. I may make two holes for drink can and plastic bottles recycling.
