Great motherboard, no issues at all
Amazing motherboard and works perfectly with no issues. Setup was straightforward and everything worked out of the box. Build quality feels solid, BIOS is easy to use, and it’s been stable with no crashes or problems so far. Great option for a Ryzen build and definitely worth the money.

A good company means a good product
A good company and a good product. But I had a little trouble starting my computer, with a 1TB M2 SSD and an RTX graphics card, because this motherboard requires a BIOS update from the moment I bought it. Without this update, my PC wouldn't boot. I installed a gaming computer with RTX graphics and two monitors on it. I've had it for almost a year now and I'm happy with it. Overall, I recommend it.

Great bank for the buck and had the correct bios version but may have been a stroke of luck
So I personally had a really great experience with this motherboard it had the BIOS version I needed at the get-go but I was fully prepared too flash it with no CPU which I really like that feature I never really got too use it. Now it's a cheap board but it feels pretty premium with it's heatsinks on both the VRM's and the M.2. I really appreciate the RGB lighting headers on this board as I recently got the Arctic Liquid Freezer III pro RGB and it looks sweet. I can't glaze this board much more than saying it's a good bang for the buck especially from me upgrading from a a320-s2h board.

Great Board, Layout Could be Better
I found this board really easy to install - being an ATX board there's plenty of space. It comes with a heat sink to help keep the primary NVME disk (if you have more than one) cool, and it has *loads* of fan connectors distributed around the board (at least 6) so that cable management can be kept under control. It also has RGB headers at the top and bottom of the board which are useful if you're into RGB. I used the BIOS custom fan curves to set up my fan curves, which lets me keep my machine cool & quiet without needing additional software slowing down Windows. Check out YouTube for loads of videos on MSI BIOS - I found it more confusing than old school style BIOS set-up, but having built in overclocking if you want it, is nice, as is the fan control. My one real quibble is that the primary NVME is tucked in between the GPU and CPU, which means if you want to replace it (or as in my case, it dies), you need to remove your GPU and CPU cooler to be able to get to it. The secondary NVME slot is really easy to get to, and it's a shame they're not the other way round. All in all though, I do like it, it's really good value for a B550 board, and happy to recommend. 5 stars - I love it 4 stars - I like it 3 stars - It's ok 2 stars - I don't like it 1 star - I hate it

Good Solid AM4 Motherboard
Good quality board bought after trouble with a Gigabyte 550 board. Just the job, easy set up and installation.

Really good value
OK so it's not the best 500 series board out there but the 5 star rating is simply because of value for what's included - two M.2 slots for your NVME drives, Wifi, a USB-C header (check your case has a USB-C port - if not just leave it unplugged), two 3 pin RGB headers, and two 4 pin RGB headers,. Oh and it has 5 fan headers, which would be enough for most people I would think. And while I have only installed low power CPU's like 3600 and 5600 on it, according to Hardware Unboxed it also handles more powerful chips surprisingly well considering how light it looks. Superb board! I should also add that I only installed NVME drives in this board, no SATA SSD's so I can't speak for how well placed the SATA headers are if you had a long graphics card installed, but just from looking at it I'm guessing you would be fine, especially as they are side mounted and not front mounted like a different motherboard I recently worked with, which was a pain

Lovely upgrade for mATX motherboard users
Lovely upgrade for mATX motherboard users. Loads of headers for AIO Pump, ARGB 3pin 5V, Loads of chassis fan headers. I would use this for a next project any day. Update the BIOS before even entering windows to get optimal user experience. GCRs

Not Good
Maybe I was unlucky but this board lasted under 2 months before showing a VGA (GPU) error LED, tested with 2 different GPU cards, both gave the same error but these GPU's work fine on other motherboards. When it was working there wwre also intermittant USB problems like a laggy keyboard and USB key detection. A bios update to the latest made the USB issue worse, reflashing back to the original made a slight improvement but still really unusable at times, therefore returned it for refund. Now a bit wary of MSI motherboards after this episode.
