Trying to use it is not so nice. WAY TOO MUCH INFORMATION
I lost my old plastic triangular drafting ruler and ordered this as a replacement. My first thought was "nice" it's metal. Trying to use it is not so nice. WAY TOO MUCH INFORMATION. I do most of my drawings in 1/2"= 1' and this is set up backwards for me and I keep going to the wrong number I don't like having two scales on the same line. If it didn't take six weeks to get anything from the US I would return this. Maybe just have to go to a supply house the next time I'm in the US and physically look at what I am buying.One nice thing is the colored strip on each side so I just have to remember I'm working on the green one. Now if the ends and numbers were color coded it might help

i get a lot of compliments on it, which at first kinda weirded me out but i got my engineering scales somewhere else and they didn't bother rounding the corners at the edge which has led to a couple of torn sheets of paper :$
