Works great for our axolotl! We have a 30 gallon tank for her and since we got his, she has been more active and curious. Is not too loud and is efficient in that it is not always running.

The media could not be loaded. This chiller works great. I spent hours researching them for cost and performance and I was lucky to have found this one. There’s not much to say, it looks nice compared to others, runs quiet, and does exactly what it’s supposed to. I am running it in a 25 gallon hydroponic setup and it has no problem keeping it within 1 degree of target. I did upgrade the pump and that really makes a difference, but it’s by no means needed unless you want a faster flow.Make sure you let it sit when it arrives, don’t rush to fire it up. Give it a few hours to let the coolant balance from shipping. Put something under the back of it maybe a 2x4 and elevate it slightly leaned forward.I can’t speak for the longevity just yet but I can tell it’s quality and I’d assume it will last a long time.With an upgraded pump this can handle 40-50gallons easy. Go for it if you’re looking for a great chiller. Definitely changed my growing.
